The Jets were able to keep their season alive with a 4-0 win in Game 5 on Thursday night. Now the series returns to Dallas as the Stars are set to host Game 6 on Saturday night. Both of Winnipeg’s wins in this series have come via shutouts, as Connor Hellebuyck recorded a 22-save shutout in Game 5 and a 21-save shutout in Game 2. However, Hellebuyck has continued to struggle on the road in the postseason and he could be in a tough spot in Saturday’s Game 6.

In five road starts so far this postseason, Hellebuyck has allowed a total of 24 goals and the Jets are 0-5 in those games. Not only has Hellebuyck struggled away from Winnipeg, but so has the Winnipeg offense. The Jets have been outscored 25-8 in 5 playoff road games, and despite the loss in Game 5, Dallas goaltender Jake Oettinger still owns a strong .916 save percentage and 2.60 goals-against average in the postseason. He could be in line for a bounce back start in this one. All in all, the Jets are not a team to trust on the road right now. I’m backing Dallas to wrap up this series on home ice in Game 6.
