Notre Dame vs BYU Prediction, Odds and NCAAF Picks for Saturday, 10/17/26

Parlay
7:30 PM
Kennesaw State @ Missouri StateMoneyline - Missouri State

Let's kick off our Wednesday college football parlay by taking Missouri State to secure the upset win over Kennesaw State. KSU won the Conference USA last year but then fell victim to the transfer portal, and the Owls are now yet to beat an FBS opponent. Missouri State is in the same position, but the Bears' schedule has been tougher than Kennesaw State's. In addition, the Owls' defense has struggled while this is a brutal spot for them, being sandwiched between hosting Jacksonville State and Liberty. Missouri State can take advantage.

8:00 PM
Western Kentucky @ Sam HoustonMoneyline - Western Kentucky

We're going with Western Kentucky to beat Sam Houston to wrap up our college football parlay on Wednesday. WKU is 2-4 but does have a dynamic QB tandem in Ronny Tisdale and Brock Glenn. Tisdale boasts the better arm while Glenn can cause problems with his legs, and that will make things hard for Sam Houston's preparation. The Bearkats hold a mediocre offense and should be outscored.

Parlay
7:30 PM
Memphis @ TulaneMoneyline - Memphis

Let's start our CFB parlay for Friday night by backing Memphis to beat Tulane. The Tigers are 5-1 and averaging 38.5 points per game, scoring between 38 and 59 points in each of their last three. While Tulane is undefeated at home, the Green Wave are 2-3 and averaging just 33.4 total yards per game. Given how hot Memphis has been, I don't see how Tulane keeps up with the Tigers in this one.

8:00 PM
Washington @ PurdueOver 52.5

To close out our Friday college football parlay, I'm expecting plenty of points when Purdue hosts Washington. The Boilermakers were expected to finish last in the Big Ten this season but they have so far held their own, earning wins over Illinois and Minnesota. Ryan Browne has been excellent under center for Purdue, throwing for more than 1,500 yards with nine TDs and only one interception. Meanwhile, Washington will start Elijah Brown at QB, but he just completed 28 of 39 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns against Iowa. Both offenses have upside in this one and that should lead to points.

8:00 PM
Appalachian State @ Coastal CarolinaMoneyline - Appalachian State

Next, I'm going with Appalachian State to beat Coastal Carolina. The Mountaineers struggled severely with horrendous weather conditions last week, but they should be able to bounce back. Coastal QB Deuce Bailey has had turnover issues recently and that could cause problems here. App State's defense ranks in the top 30 in yards per play allowed and turnover margin, and that gives them a strong edge in this one.

Parlay
12:00 PM
Virginia @ SMUSpread - Virginia +8.5

Another college football Saturday is upon us, and starting off our parlay, I'm taking Virginia to cover against SMU. The Cavaliers have been a mixed bag this season, but QB Beau Pribula has been electric with 1,074 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and just one interception. With Virginia averaging 33 points per game, they should have enough in the tank to keep things close against SMU, who could be facing their toughest test yet here.

3:30 PM
Alabama @ TennesseeSpread - Alabama -8.5

Next, I'm taking Alabama to cover against Tennessee. These teams have one of the best rivalries in the SEC, and although the Vols boast a great defense, their offense has looked stagnant. Tennessee is yet to eclipse 24 points in conference play, and that is worrying against an Alabama team that has been lethal on the offensive side of the ball, with only Georgia keeping the Crimson Tide below 45 points this season. I can't see Tennessee keeping up with Bama in this one.

7:00 PM
Florida State @ MiamiSpread - Miami -21.5

To wrap up our college football Saturday parlay, I'm taking Miami to cover against Florida State. FSU was just outmatched by Louisville last week, and it's hard to see the Seminoles bouncing back effectively against this vicious Hurricanes team. Miami was idle last week, meaning it will be well-rested and ready to go for this one. Given the dominance we've seen from the Hurricanes this season and the fact we've already seen the Noles allow 50 points in a game this season, Miami should be able to pick up a big win.
