My greatest betting memory was tied to one of my favorite memories as a sports fan. I placed a small wager on Liverpool to advance in the Champions League against Barcelona in 2019. After suffering a 3-0 defeat at Camp Nou in the first leg, Liverpool came storming back and helped me cash a 50-1 ticket. It was easily my best betting memory tied with one of my favorite memories as a Red.

Luke has a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts and a minor in business, which included coursework focusing on calculating odds and identifying value in a variety of markets.

7+ years of betting experience, 4+ years as a sports handicapper and 2+ years as a sports editor. Luke has been betting legally since 2023 but has been participating in (and winning) Fantasy Football and March Madness pools since 2012. Luke began supplying college football and MLS picks for Pickswise in 2021 as a freelancer. In 2022, Luke joined SSG as a full-time deputy editor and provided a variety of picks and predictions for major publications such as Sports Illustrated, MLive.com and more. In 2023, Luke was appointed Managing Editor for SSG US Media Partnerships and still regularly contributes to Pickswise.

My favorite sportsbook is FanDuel Sportsbook for a variety of reasons. First off, they have regular promotions and boosts for a variety of sports, whether it be weekly soccer games, UFC fight nights or regular promotions for the NFL, NBA and NHL, FanDuel has it all. Also, they have a large selection of betting markets for Same Game Parlays, and I’ll cover target team shots and corner markets for soccer on FanDuel. Finally, the FD interface is extremely easy to navigate, and I never have any issues finding a specific betting market.
