After earning a 3-1 win in Game 3 of this series, the Dodgers now own a 2-1 series edge over the Braves. Looking to pick up another win and move on to the NLCS, the Dodgers are slight favorites on the road in Game 4. But is the juice worth the squeeze? All three games in this series have been tight contests, and the Braves have won six of the nine meetings between these teams in 2026. Atlanta also has home-field advantage in this pivotal Game 4, which bodes well for them considering the fact that they went 52-29 at Truist Park during the course of the regular season.
Atlanta could also have an edge when it comes to starting pitching in this one. Los Angeles will hand the ball to Tyler Glasnow, who will be making his first start of the postseason. Glasnow ended the regular season with a less-than-ideal 5.24 ERA through four starts in September, and hasn't pitched since September 24. So there is some uncertainty here. On the other side, the Braves will send Tyler Mahle to the mound. Mahle was acquired at the trade deadline from San Francisco, and has posted a strong 1.99 ERA to go along with a 0.96 WHIP through nine starts with his new team. He was lights-out in his first postseason start, as he tossed 7.0 innings of one-run ball against the Phillies in the wild card round. With plus-money odds on the moneyline, back the Braves at home.
