The Orioles and Yankees will get ready for their doubleheader after Saturday’s game was bumped up due to weather. Neither team has much to play for in this matchup, which can make things tough when looking at the analytics. However, the Yankees will want to keep their players as prepared as possible heading into next week, which is why I expect them to be the better team in Game 2 of today’s doubleheader.

Warren has been terrific over the last two months, but he struggled in his last start against the Diamondbacks, allowing four runs on six hits over 4.1 innings. Young, on the other hand, hasn’t picked up a win since August 11, going 0-2 with a 4.50 ERA over his last seven starts. At the end of the day, I expect the Yankees to give their best effort as they look to keep everyone sharp heading into the AL Wild Card Series, especially with Saturday’s game already moved up. Look for Warren to bounce back, settle in on the mound and lead the Yankees to a win in Game 2.
