Starting off today's MLB parlay, I'm taking the Pirates to beat the Cardinals. St. Louis will have Matthew Liberatore toeing the rubber, and his first two starts against the Pirates in 2026 saw him allow eight runs and 13 hits from just 10.1 innings of work. Pittsburgh has Liberatore's number and that should be the case again tonight.
Next up, I'm backing the Braves to bounce back from yesterday's defeat to the Reds. Chris Sale will be on the mound for Atlanta, who boasts a 14-9 record and 2.18 ERA, while Reds starter Andrew Abbott has a poor 6-11 record and 4.70 ERA. Offense has been a struggle for the Reds and things are unlikely to get any easier here.
To bring home our MLB parlay tonight, I'm taking the Cubs to beat the Marlins and in doing so clinch a playoff berth. They'll be going against Marlins pitcher Ryan Gusto, who has a poor 1-5 record this season, and has already allowed five runs and 10 hits against the Cubs this season. Chicago has been hot offensively and that should continue here.
