Milwaukee Brewers vs Tampa Bay Rays Prediction, Odds and MLB Picks for Today

The Tampa Bay Rays have one last chance to keep their season alive against the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday night. The Brew Crew buried the Rays on Monday, 10-1 and they did it on the strength of an eight-run fifth inning. That explosion also came at the expense of former Brewer Freddy Peralta, a guy who has pitched lights out all postseason. I think we have reached a level of demoralizing that the Rays cannot come back from, and we are likely to see the Brewers just sweep this series and end it. Give me the Brewers at pretty much whatever number, as we enjoy baseball one last time for God knows how long with the lockout looming.

The Brewers have basically vaporized every opponent in the postseason. They took out the Padres 3-1 and then they swept the mighty Dodgers, who were never really even close in that series. Now they have nuked and demoralized the Rays, and basically everything the Brewers do in any aspect of the game is perfect. Let’s just face facts and go with it. Starting pitching isn’t super significant right now given the way teams are using bullpens, but the Rays will likely go with Griffin Jax while the Brewers have lots of options -- including Dustin May. But the Brewers didn’t use any of the bullpen that matters, and they even got Brandon Woodruff in for an inning, so they have no reason to do anything other than just fully deploy all their arms and go win the series. I don’t know how they don’t.
