Over 230.5 offered at plus money? That's a criminally good bargain. San Antonio has gone Under the total in all three games this season, but I wouldn't be too quick to assume that trend continues against a Sacramento outfit that has been an absolute disaster defensively. The Kings are winless through three games, surrendering a whopping 124 points per contest, and their defensive rating sits at an abysmal 122.5. This is nothing new by the way, this is the recent behavior of Sacramento basketball and they would tell you if they did a State of the Union address. The Kings have already conceded 128 points to Portland, 123 to Memphis, and 121 to the Clippers who entered the season in disarray and scandal. All of this hardly inspires confidence ahead of a trip to San Antonio.
Meanwhile, the Spurs finally got off the mark with a 122-point performance in Dallas and this is another opportunity for their offense to find its rhythm against considerably less resistance. The Spurs are a 17.5-point favorite here for a reason, so unless this is a 50-point blowout, the Kings can also contribute to getting us Over here. Sacramento does have offensive weapons of its own, particularly with Zach LaVine and Domantas Sabonis. LaVine in particular is averaging nearly 30 points a night in his last two outings while Sabonis always has explosive potential. I am not saying that they both go off, but they can score and the Kings have scored 112 and 120 points in their last two outings particularly on the back of their efforts. We don't need that duo to win this basketball game. We need them to contribute enough offensively to keep the scoreboard moving. The Kings have been giving up points for fun and the Spurs should oblige. But Sacramento has some weaponry that can also lend a hand. Take the Over.
