That means we're getting the Wizards at a reduced price, and that equates to value. Look, Washington is not a team that exactly has a good reputation, and understandably so. The Wizards won a remarkable 17 games last season, finished dead last in the NBA standings, and owned the league's worst defensive rating. This team is a nightmare and that begs the question: Who the heck would want anything to do with a team like that laying points? That's the entire premise of this play.

Trae Young and Anthony Davis are now at the forefront of a revamped roster featuring Deandre Ayton and promising youngster Alex Sarr. They also drafted a very promising rookie in AJ Dybantsa and picked up Khris Middleton in a trade with Dallas. This team has the potential to make waves. Meanwhile, Milwaukee has entered the post-Giannis era after a 32-win campaign, and the Bucks have plenty of questions themselves. The market has seemingly gravitated toward Milwaukee despite being ranked as low as #29 in some power ratings. This is because Washington has been miserable as of recent but the Wizards have considerably more firepower than their record from last season suggests. We're not asking Washington to suddenly become a championship contender. We're asking a vastly improved outfit to beat a rebuilding Milwaukee team at home that is regressing.
