There are 9 games on the schedule Friday night in the NBA. Five games have a spread of at least 3.5 points or fewer and two games have double-digit spreads. The low totals in NBA continue as only one game is over 220 points and 6 games are 215 or fewer. As always, stay up date on the latest injury news since lines can change. Bets may be added throughout the day if there are additional spots that arise, so be sure to check back later in the day. The plays on Monday went 1-2 after losing the Suns game on the hook, the first losing night and are 15-8 for the season. Here are my picks for tonight.

Domantas Sabonis over 16.5 points (-105 on DraftKings)

Sabonis is averaging 18.3 points per game, but has scored 6 and 15 points in 2 of the last 4 games. He scored 15 points against the Pistons in his last game, but only took 7 shots from the field. The Hornets are a prefect matchup since they lack the size to defend Sabonis and allow 48.4 points per game in the paint, which is third-worst in the NBA. The teams matchup up to open the season and Sabonis scored a season-high 33 points, shooting 13-for-19 from the field. Sabonis has gone over this total in 10 of 16 games.

Deandre Ayton over 15.5 points (-125 on DraftKings)

Ayton has looked good in his first two games back from injury. He scored 22 points on Monday against Minnesota and had 19 points in 36 minutes against Dallas on Thursday. Ayton gets another matchup against Dallas, which is one of the worst teams at defending centers. Ayton has scored at least 16 points in five consecutive games. Dallas allows 47.6 points per game in the paint, which ranks 25th in the NBA.

Malcolm Brogdon over 6.5 assists (+110 on DraftKings)

This is a pace up spot for the Pacers, as the Hornets are third in pace. Brogdon is averaging 6.5 assists per game and opened the season with 11 assists against the Hornets. Brogdon has gone over this total in 6 of 11 games and will have Domantas Sabonis and Caris LeVert on the court and it helps Brogdon get over this total. Brogdon averages 13.8 potential assists per game. The Hornets allow 26 assists per game, and only the Grizzlies allow more.

Chicago Bulls at Denver Nuggets under 210 points

Denver plays at the second slowest pace in the NBA and has been excellent defensively at home. Last night the game in Denver with Philadelphia totaled 192 points. Denver allows 93.6 points per game at home. The Nuggets have struggled offensively without Jamal Murray, and Michael Porter Jr. and other injuries mixed in and average 102.6 points per game. The Bulls allow 103.3 points per game and are 13-3 on the under in their last 16 games as underdogs. Denver is 4th in defensive efficiency and the Bulls are 9th. Denver has gone under in 11 of its last 15 games.
