Super Bowl 56 is upon us, with the Los Angeles Rams set to do battle with the Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium. There’s a ton of different betting markets that you can get involved with for the game, including player props. That will be the focus of this article — Aaron Donald player props, more specifically. Donald has been a superstar for the Rams for many years now, but will he make his presence felt in the Super Bowl?

Let’s dive in, but make sure you also check out our Super Bowl hub for tons of best bets and picks for the big game.

Aaron Donald to record a sack (-192)

This prop can appear fairly juiced on first look, but that is fairly justified. Donald’s reputation speaks for itself — he’s an unstoppable sack machine and has been the talisman of the Rams’ defensive front for many years now. He’s undoubtedly going to be bringing his A-game to the Super Bowl, and will want nothing more than to bury Joe Burrow into the ground.

While the intent is certainly there, the stats also back up that Donald is going to get his shot. The Bengals allowed 55 sacks during the regular season — the 3rd-most in the NFL. Their offensive line issues and inability to protect Burrow carried on into the postseason, with Burrow being sacked an incredible 9 times in their victory over the Titans.

As for Donald, he has at least half a sack in 7 of his last 9 games and a full sack in 5 of those. There were only 5 teams all season that Donald couldn’t register a sack against, but he now gets a golden opportunity to lay one down on the biggest stage of all. Plus, if the Rams manage to get out to a decent lead then Burrow will have no choice but to air it out, meaning he will have the ball in his hands for longer which should give Donald more time to get to him. All things considered, take Donald to register a sack.
