Best NBA Bets Today: Odds & Picks for every game on Friday, February 6

Long-time NBA fan, following the game closely for 21 years now. Joined the Pickswise writing staff for the 2020-21 season and have given out winning picks since. Hopefully we can make some money together! Oh, and I firmly believe Lebron James is not one of the two best basketball players of all time. Yeah, I said it. A total of 28 trades went down before yesterday’s trade deadline had passed, with that out the way we can now focus solely on basketball. Friday brings us an exciting 6-game slate, highlighted by a Knicks vs Pistons clash in the East and a Clippers vs Kings match-up in the West as our Prime Video double-header.

The action begins at 7.30 pm ET, don’t forget to tune in. My NBA Best Bets are ready for all 6 match-ups taking place, odds are courtesy of FanDuel. Check our detailed NBA Picks on the website as well, but let’s shift our attention to my bets now.

Heat vs Celtics Best Bet: Payton Pritchard Over 3.5 Rebounds (-152)

Pritchard had a massive game in the win over the Rockets scoring 27 pts off the bench, I’m hoping his fine form continues on Friday vs Miami. He’s cleared this line in 32 of 50 games played so far which is a success rate of 64%. Miami ranks 1st for rebounds allowed to PGs this season and 2nd for rebounds allowed overall as a team.

Knicks vs Pistons Best Bet: Knicks ML (-120)

A lot of bettors are upset with the Pistons following last night’s debacle vs Washington where they were 16.5 point favorites and still lost at home. The Knicks are on an 8-game win streak, looking to get revenge for a blowout loss in the first meeting a month ago.

Pacers vs Bucks Best Bet: Over 224.5 Points (-110)

Oddsmakers are setting the line very low in Bucks games these days, due to the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, they’ve clicked offensively in the last 2 games resulting in 246 and 278 points scored. I’m doubling down on the over as they take on the Pacers who have seen more than 224.5 points in 3 consecutive games.

Pelicans vs Timberwolves Best Bet: Jeremiah Fears Over 2.5 Rebounds (-128)

This season is pretty much a wash for the Pelicans who can now focus on developing their young players, instead of trying to win games. Fears has cleared this line in an amazing 74% of his games this season (39/53). Minnesota ranks 4th for rebounds allowed to opposing PGs this year.

Grizzlies vs Trail Blazers Best Bet: Deni Avdija Over 21.5 Points (-108)

Avdija has had issues with his back lately, but I think it’s time for him to have a productive game. He’s scored 22 or more points in 32 of 44 games this season, which is an insane rate of 73%. Memphis ranks 4th for points allowed to SF this season and 10th for points allowed overall as a team.

Clippers vs Kings Best Bet: DeMar DeRozan Over 16.5 Points (-104)

With no Zubac roaming the paint for the Clippers here, DeRozan and co. should have a slightly easier time finding their way to the basket. The veteran shooting guard has cleared this line in 34 of 52 games (65%), LA ranks 5th for points allowed to opposing Small Forwards.
