A total of 28 trades went down before Thursday’s trade deadline, and with that out of the way, we can now focus solely on actual basketball. Friday brings us an exciting 6-game slate, highlighted by a Knicks vs Pistons clash in the East and a Clippers vs Kings matchup in the West as the Amazon Prime Video doubleheader. The action begins at 7:30 pm ET, and I’ve picked out my NBA best bets for all 6 matchups, with odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook. You can also find out our expert NBA picks for all of tonight’s action and EVERY game throughout the season!
Heat vs Celtics NBA best bet: Payton Pritchard over 3.5 rebounds (-152)
Pritchard had a massive game in the win over the Rockets, scoring 27 points off the bench. I’m banking on his fine form continues on Friday against Miami. He’s cleared this line in 32 of 50 games played, which is a success rate of 64%. Miami allows the 2nd-most rebounds overall, including the most rebounds surrendered to point guards this season.

Knicks vs Pistons NBA best bet: Knicks ML (-120)
A lot of bettors are upset with the Pistons after last night’s debacle against Washington, a game in which they were -16.5 favorites and still lost at home. The Knicks are on an 8-game win streak, looking to get revenge for a blowout loss in the first meeting a month ago.

Pacers vs Bucks NBA best bet: Over 224.5 (-110)
Oddsmakers set the totals very low in Bucks games these days, mostly due to the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, they’ve clicked offensively in the last 2 games, resulting in 246 and 278 total points scored. I’m doubling down on the over, as they take on the Pacers — who have played in 3 straight games with 225+ points.
Pelicans vs Timberwolves NBA best bet: Jeremiah Fears over 2.5 rebounds (-128)
This season is pretty much a wash for the Pelicans, who can now focus on developing their young players instead of trying to win games. Fears has cleared this line in an amazing 74% of his games this season (39/53). Minnesota allows the 5th-most rebounds to point guards.
Grizzlies vs Trail Blazers NBA best bet: Deni Avdija over 21.5 points (-108)
Avdija has had issues with his back lately, but I think it’s time for him to have a productive game. He’s scored 22 or more points in 32 of 44 games this season, which is an insane rate of 73%. This is a great matchup for him, as the Grizzlies are one of the worst teams in points allowed to point guards and are bottom-10 in overall points surrendered per game (117). In fact, they’ve allowed an average of 128 points per game in their last 3 outings.
Clippers vs Kings NBA best bet: DeMar DeRozan over 16.5 points (-104)
Without Zubac roaming the paint for the Clippers, DeRozan should find more success finishing at the rim. The veteran shooting guard has cleared this line in 34 of 52 games (65%), including in 4 of his last 5 games.
