I had a very productive Friday going 8-2 on my NBA Best Bets plus I also landed a +583 NBA Parlay. Saturday is a new day, so let’s try and keep the momentum going with another 6-game slate coming our way. The action starts as early as 1:00 pm ET with a Prime Video matinee between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves, and goes well into the night with a nightcap between the Charlotte Hornets and Utah Jazz.
Once again I’ve prepared a NBA Best Bet for every single game being played, in hopes of cashing on as many bets as possible. We’ll have detailed predictions for Saturday’s slate on our NBA Picks page, don’t forget to check those out. Now let’s get into it!
Timberwolves vs Cavaliers Best Bet: Cavaliers -3.5 (-110)
These two just met a couple of days ago and Minnesota won 131-122 at home. Time for the Cavs to return the favor in front of their own fans. Julius Randle and Anthony Edwards both picked up knocks in that game, if either one of them isn’t able to play here it will be difficult to beat this Cavaliers team.
Heat vs Pacers Best Bet: Heat -7.5 (-112)
Miami thoroughly dominated the first meeting less than 2 weeks ago 142-116. They got an extra 2 days to rest as their game vs Chicago got postponed, I’m hoping they’ve recouped some of their energy ahead of Saturday’s game. Indiana just snapped a 13-game losing streak, this team ranks 29th in defensive and 24th in offensive efficiency.
Clippers vs Pistons Best Bet: Clippers +6.5 (-114)
Clippers are playing on a back-to-back, but they are one of the hottest teams in the league. Detroit could once again be without Cade Cunningham who is dealing with a wrist issue. Although they dealt with his absence fairly easily vs Chicago, it could be problematic without him vs a rejuvenated Clippers team.
Spurs vs Celtics Best Bet: Celtics -1.5 (-106)
Having to deal with Victor Wembanyama is a difficult task for any team, but the Celtics rank 2nd best in the league in terms of points allowed in the paint. Their last 3 games have seen them allow just 37.3 pts per game, that should give them the upper hand here. Plus, it’s also worth pointing out they’ve won 5 in a row vs San Antonio, covering the spread in 4 of those.
Mavericks vs Bulls Best Bet: Matas Buzelis 2+ Made Threes (-188)
Buzelis has really made a name for himself this season. He has played and started in all 37 Bulls games so far, posting career highs across the board. Right now he’s on a run of 6 consecutive games with at least 2 threes made, he’s failed to clear this line just once in 11 games played. This season he’s cashed on this line in 65% of his games.
Hornets vs Jazz Best Bet: Brandon Miller Over 2.5 Assists (-172)
The Hornets are simply a different team when Brandon Miller plays this season. He’s been very active distributing the ball, even if it’s not his primary objective. In 21 games played he’s dished out 3 assists in 14 of them, which is a very solid success rate of 67%. He should be able to get there vs the Jazz on Saturday, Utah ranks 1st for assists allowed this season and 1st for assists allowed vs opposing small forwards.
