With less than 20 games to go in the regular season, things are really heating in up in the NBA. Tuesday brings us another massive 11-game slate, featuring a tasty NBC/Peacock double-header. The Celtics and Spurs get us going at 8 pm ET, followed by a huge clash out West between the Timberwolves and Lakers at 11 pm ET.
Our detailed NBA Picks are available for all 11 match-ups, be sure to check those out before placing your bets. I’ve also done a deep dive into all 11 games and have prepared my NBA Best Bets for every single one of them, available below. Odds are courtesy of FanDuel, let’s get into it!
Grizzlies vs 76ers Best Bet: Kelly Oubre Jr. Over 17.5 Points (+100)
No Edgecombe, Maxey, Embiid and George for Philly so it’s really hard to trust them to cover here. Kelly Oubre Jr. should be the one carrying the offense, Memphis ranks 3rd for points allowed to opposing SFs this season and 8th for points allowed overall as a team.
Wizards vs Heat Best Bet: Trae Young Over 6.5 Assists (-114)
Washington is playing without any pressure whatsoever here. Trae Young has had 6 and 8 assists in his first two games with the team, logging under 20 mins in both games. With Miami ranking 1st for points and 2nd for assists allowed to opposing PGs, I think he should be able to get to 7 assists without any major issues here.
Pistons vs Nets Best Bet: Duncan Robinson Over 2.5 Threes (-114)
With Cade back the Pistons should drastically improved here. Most of Robinson’s baskets come from assists by the point-guard, he had 3 of them when these two teams met over the weekend even with Cade out. Brooklyn ranks 6th for points and 9th for threes allowed to opposing shooting guards.
Mavericks vs Hawks Best Bet: Hawks -9.5 (-110)
Atlanta has really impressed winning their last 6 games. In their last 3 they shot over 50% from the field and even had 20 threes made in the win over Milwaukee. They should handle the Mavs fairly easily here, Dallas has dropped 7 in a row overall and 9 of 11 on the road.
Raptors vs Rockets Best Bet: Rockets -5 (-105)
Houston’s biggest advantage lies in the rebounding department where they grabbed 31 more boards than the Raptors in the 1st meeting of the season, dominating by 18 points in the end. They are just a more complete team at this point.
Suns vs Bucks Best Bet: Suns -2 (-110)
The 2021 NBA Finalists clash for the 1st time this season. I have the Suns coming out on top, they are the more in-form team with 4 wins in 5 games. Giannis coming back hasn’t helped the Bucks at all, their last 4 losses have all been blowouts.
Celtics vs Spurs Best Bet: Celtics +3 (-108)
Both teams are playing quality basketball at the moment, but I’ll side with the Celtics here. They’re the more experienced team and with Tatum back they’ve looked really solid. The superior three-point shooting should swing the game in their favor.
Pacers vs Kings Best Bet: Russell Westbrook to record a triple-double (+2000)
Russ is going to have a field day stuffing the stat sheet here. Neither side wants to win realistically, plus the injury situation is pretty bad on both rosters which makes it really hard to get a good read on who will come out on top. Indy ranks 4th for triple-doubles allowed to PGs and 8th for triple-doubles allowed as a team.
Bulls vs Warriors Best Bet: Kristaps Porzingis 2+ Made Threes (+116)
He’s hit a pair of threes in 7 of his last 10 games, while against the Bulls he’s on a streak of 6 consecutive meetings clearing this line. In his last home game against Chicago he went 8-for-14 from deep, I’m not expecting that on Tuesday, but he should be able to drain a pair with no issues.
Hornets vs Trail Blazers Best Bet: Hornets -3 (-110)
Charlotte hasn’t swept the Blazers in a regular season series since the 2007-08 season when they were called the Bobcats. This is a the best opportunity for them to do so in a while, they’ve won 15 of 20 games and 10 of 11 on the road. They also rank 2nd on offense and 7th on defense in their last 15 games overall.
Timberwolves vs Lakers Best Bet: Timberwolves -2.5 (-110)
LeBron James coming back hurts the Lakers defense here. Ant Man and co. will be motivated to avoid the regular season sweep in this one, they’ve won 6 of 7 on the road and are riding a 6-game win streak in games vs Western Conference opponents as well. The Lakers have covered only once in 6 games vs Northwest Division teams.
