A total of 22 teams will hit the NBA hardwood this Sunday, with a couple of high quality matchups coming our way. After a long and in-depth analysis, I have opted for a 3-leg mega parlay at a tasty +1048 odds. Cashing on it would be the perfect way to end week number 3 of the new NBA season.

Visit our NBA predictions page for picks on the Spread and Total for Sunday’s 11-game slate, but let’s not waste any more time and get right into it.

Indiana Pacers ML (+215)

Denver Nuggets -4 (-110)

Phoenix Suns -3 (-110)

Parlay odds: +1048

Indiana Pacers ML vs Philadelphia 76ers (+215)

The Pacers haven’t had this good of a start to their season in years and it’s all thanks to the play of Tyrese Haliburton, who continues to amaze. He is 20th in the NBA in scoring at 23.6 points per game, while also leading the league in assists per game at 11.6 a night. His Pacers are 4-1 SU in the month of November so far, beating the Milwaukee Bucks 126-124 in their last outing on Friday.

The Sixers have also exceeded expectations, occupying 1st place in the East with a 7-1 record. They’re unbeaten at home with a 5-0 record, but surely their hot start has to end at some point? The Pacers have every right to hope for a win here, they’ve covered the spread in 6 of the last 8 meetings and are 4-1 ATS/SU in their last 5 overall. We’ve seen plenty of surprises already in this young NBA season and with a team like the Pacers who are capable of scoring 120+ on any given night, there is a decent chance of that being the case in tonight’s game. Let’s go with the Pacers to pull off the upset.

Denver Nuggets -4 vs Houston Rockets (-110)

The Rockets did win their last 5 games, but if we take a closer look at them they played against a Pelicans team that was without CJ McCollum, a Lakers team without the defensive presence of Anthony Davis and 2 games against the Kings without De’Aaron Fox. Despite the Nuggets being without Jamal Murray, the Nuggets showed in previous years they can be successful without him winning the last 2 games and had a 10-7 record without him last year.

And that’s all down to having Nikola Jokic on their side. During the Nuggets 4 game winning streak, Jokic scored 30 or more points in 3 out of the last 4 games. This may be a square play but the reigning champions have the more experience and have the size to beat the Rockets to continue their winning streak. In the last 6 meetings between the 2 teams, the Nuggets have covered this number in 5 out of 6 games. This is a small spread, but give credit to the Rockets they are playing well. However, this is a tall task for them. Let’s back the Nuggets to win and cover this number.

Phoenix Suns -3 over Oklahoma City Thunder (-110)

This OKC side has shown a lot of promise to start the season, but losing games against the shorthanded Kings is something that shouldn’t be happening if they want to be in the playoff mix. Only 7 3-pointers made and 98 points scored was the 2nd lowest point total for the season so far. Those aren’t the numbers you want to have ahead of a game against one of the best scorers in NBA history, who is still getting it done at the age of 35.

Kevin Durant just had 38 points in the loss to the Lakers on Friday, I have no doubt he will put on a show against his former team here. KD is 8-4 vs his old team in 12 meetings, while averaging 32.3 points per game. The Suns are on a 5-game winning streak in head-to-head meetings at Footprint Center, while also winning 8 of the last 10 meetings overall. I’ll take them to cover.
