Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The basketball world might have been dominated by the NCAA tournament of late, but the NBA is still here and delivering us great nightly action. This Tuesday is no different. We get to witness 2 of the top 4 sides from the Western Conference collide as the New Orleans Pelicans host the Oklahoma City Thunder. In fact, all 8 teams in action tonight are currently on track to be involved in the postseason, with teams desperate for wins to secure more favorable positioning. You can check out all of our NBA picks for today’s games, but for now, let’s check out my predictions for Tuesday’s NBA mega parlay.

Lakers vs Bucks Over 231.5 (-110)

Pelicans ML (+105)

Mavericks ML (+100)

NBA parlay odds: +682

Los Angeles Lakers vs Milwaukee Bucks over 231.5 (-110)

The Los Angeles Lakers could be going into the first game of their back-to-back set without LeBron James. With more of the ball handling and scoring responsibilities falling to Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell, look for them to employ a faster tempo with more shots from deep than usual. Over the last 10 games, they are the most accurate team from beyond the arc, making 43.1% of their attempts. An uptick in volume should help them maintain those lofty scoring numbers.

It’s worth noting that the visitors are just 26th in defensive rating during that stretch and 6th in pace. It should mean the Bucks will have plenty of opportunities to attack a fragile defense and put up numbers of their own. They have hit at least 115 points in 4 straight games. As a result, look for both sides to clear 115 points tonight, helping the over hit in the process.

New Orleans Pelicans ML over Oklahoma City Thunder (+105)

Even with the level of play the Thunder have shown this season, it is strange to see the Pelicans being underdogs at home tonight. Over the last 10 games, they have 1 more win than the visitors. Considering the season series is currently tied at 1-1, I expect them to have a great chance coming out as winners in front of their fans. Zion Williamson should be key in this. Over the last 10 games, he has upped his scoring to 24.7 points per game on 64% shooting from the field. While the Thunder do have Chet Holmgren protecting the rim, look for him to have issues dealing with Williamson’s physicality, especially if the Pelicans star builds steam downhill. During that stretch, the Pelicans are 3rd in net offensive and defensive rating. The Thunder do not make the top 10. The hosts have great value tonight.

Dallas Mavericks ML over Sacramento Kings (+100)

The Mavericks have lost both games to the Kings this season, but this will be a great chance to pull one back. With the additions of P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford, they should be much better equipped to handle Domantas Sabonis. And with Kyrie Irving missing the last meeting between these teams but available here, the visitors should be able to pack much more of a scoring punch themselves.

The Mavericks are in the top 10 in both offensive and defensive rating over the last 10 games, with an 8-2 record during that stretch. They also have a slightly better record on the second night of back-to-backs this season than the hosts, with both teams playing under these circumstances tonight. I think Luka Doncic should be the difference here. He recorded a triple-double the last time they met and should cause the Kings’ guards issues with his physicality. With little protection at the rim from Sabonis, the Slovenian should dominate on the inside here. Back the visitors.
