Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. We are now getting to that stage of the NBA season where the participants of the postseason are becoming more and more clear. There is just 1 team in each conference that is currently outside of the play-in picture that still has the mathematical possibility of making it. Of those 2, only the Houston Rockets seem to have a realistic shot of doing just that. They will look to keep that hope alive today as they take on the impressive Minnesota Timberwolves as part of a 9-game NBA slate. You can check out all of our NBA picks for today’s games, but for now, let’s check out my predictions for Tuesday’s NBA mega parlay. We’ve been red-hot lately with our NBA mega parlays, cashing 2 in a row at +832 odds and +857 odds, and now we’re going for 3 straight!

Thunder -5.5 (-110)

Rockets +8 (-110)

Clippers vs Kings Over 220 (-110)

NBA parlay odds: +595

Oklahoma City Thunder -5.5 over Philadelphia 76ers (-110)

This had been touted as a potential return game for Joel Embiid. However, the reigning MVP has now been ruled out of the game. Tyrese Maxey joins him on the injury report, being listed as questionable after missing the 76ers’ last game. Without their 2 stars, we could see a Philadelphia 76ers team that is much more likely to play to their recent form, going just 4-6 over their last 10 games. The Thunder on the other hand are motivated by their pursuit of the number 1 seed. While they too could be without their star in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, they have shown recently they can win without him. That was highlighted by a 25-point victory over a full-strength Phoenix Suns squad.

Oklahoma City will be helped by the fact that the 76ers will have Mo Bamba playing at the 5, with the center being unlikely to cause Chet Holmgren issues with his size or physicality. Over the last 10 games, the 76ers are just 19th in true shooting percentage and should have issues finishing against the Thunder, especially with Holmgren guarding the paint. It should give the visitors a great chance to cover tonight.

We also have an Oklahoma City Thunder vs Philadelphia 76ers Same Game Parlay at +820 odds

Houston Rockets +8 over Minnesota Timberwolves (-110)

Over the last 10 games, the Houston Rockets have been 5th in the NBA in net offensive and defensive rating. It has helped them go 9-1 over that stretch and to get 8 points on them tonight seems like great value. With Jabari Smith Jr. playing at center in the absence of Alperen Sengun, they have a floor spacer who can drag Rudy Gobert out of the paint. The Rockets man knocked down 2.1 triples per game last month on 40.3% shooting from beyond the arc. His presence should go a long way in unlocking this Minnesota Timberwolves defense. The space that creates on the inside should allow Jalen Green to flourish and help him go head-to-head with Anthony Edwards. Green is averaging 29.8 points per game over the last 10 games and should do well against Edwards. The Timberwolves’ star has seen his scoring drop off to 25 per game on just 30.3% shooting from beyond the arc during the same stretch.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Sacramento Kings Over 222.5 (-110)

With 2 of the 3 meetings between these teams clearing the 220-point mark this season, there is no reason to suggest tonight will be different. The Kings should have success attacking James Harden and Ivica Zubac in pick-and-roll situations with Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox. The Clippers are just 27th in defensive rating over the last 10 games which should make them vulnerable. They are, however, 4th in offensive rating during that same stretch, and should be able to take advantage of the lack of rim protection that Sabonis provides.

It is also worth noting that the Kings are 4th in the league in fast-break points per game over that stretch. I expect them to push the tempo once more tonight, not allowing the Clippers to get settled into their half-court offense. The Clippers have better scoring options in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in such a situation, so the hosts should look to turn this into a fast-paced, back-and-forth game. That should set this up for the over to hit.
