There are 11 games in the NBA Friday night following a trade deadline with a lot of movement. Six games have a line of 4.5 points or fewer and 6 games have a total of at least 230 points, with the Thunder-Blazers game the highest at 241.

Here are my picks for tonight.

De’Aaron Fox Over 24.5 points (-120)

Odds available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.

De’Aaron Fox is averaging 24.2 points per game this season and has been over this line in 4 of the last 5 games. The Kings’ point guard has scored at least 29 points in 4 of the last 5 games and has taken at least 23 shots from the field on all of the occasions on which he went over the mark. Fox averaged 25.2 points per game in January and is averaging 26 ppg so far in February. In the last 7 games Fox has played at least 35 minutes he has scored at least 25 points every time. The Mavericks’ defense won’t be as good with the trade of Dorian Finney-Smith and the addition of Kyrie Irving. They already allow the 8th-most points to opposing point guards. The Kings are -2 favorites at home, so a blowout is unexpected and Fox should log more than enough court time to go over.

Norman Powell Over 20.5 points (-125)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

The Clippers made a lot of moves at the trade deadline. They traded Luke Kennard, Reggie Jackson and John Wall and acquired Mason Plumlee, Eric Gordon and Bones Hyland — who won’t play tonight. Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out due to injury management. As such, Norman Powell will benefit and see more usage. Even with the Clippers healthy recently, Powell has played well — scoring at least 24 points in 4 of the last 5 games. He has scored 27, 26, 24, 14 and 24 points in that span while playing at least 30 minutes in 4 of the games. Powell is likely to log 32 to 35 minutes against the Bucks, who are playing on a back-to-back and could rest some players. In games Powell has taken at least 15 shots from the field, he has scored at least 21 points 8 of 10 times. This should be a game in which he takes at least 15 shots and is relied upon for scoring with the Clippers -2.5 favorites at home.
