It’s Monday night in the NBA, and we have a 7-game slate ahead of us. Giannis returns tonight after missing 5 straight games and he brings along with him Khris Middleton, who hasn’t played since December 15. They are on the road against the lowly Pistons team. On normal nights, it would be an auto-play of Giannis over on points and rebounds but returning from injury and adding Middleton into the mix brings question marks on what their minutes will look like. The game of the night is Memphis vs Sacramento (+1) as the Grizzlies are on a back-to-back after losing last night to the Suns.

Jaren Jackson Jr. (MEM) Over 20.5 Points and Rebounds (-125)

Line available on DraftKings sportsbook at the time of publishing.

Jackson is averaging 24.5 PR over his L10 and 23 per game on the season. After two rough outings against the Lakers and Suns marred with foul trouble, we get this gift of a line at 20.5. Jackson hit this line in his two games against the Kings this season (25 and 21 PR). Jackson actually performs his best on the tail end of back-to-backs; he’s averaging 20 PPG and almost 8 rebounds in the 3 back-to-backs he’s played all season. The key to hitting this line will be staying out of foul trouble. 1U

Paolo Banchero (ORL) Over 23.5 Points and Rebounds (-125)

Line available on DraftKings sportsbook at the time of publishing.

You could make the case that Banchero is hitting the rookie wall that many speak about, but even his wall his still an above-average NBA player. He’s averaging 26 points and rebounds for the month of January, 25.8 PR over the L10 game and 27 for the season. The Celtics could be missing Robert Williams tonight and will be without Smart or Brogdon in the backcourt. I expect Orlando to be competitive in this game and Banchero will likely have mismatches offensively in the post if Williams is out. He’s hit this in all 3 games vs the Celtics this season, averaging 30 PR in the process. The last two games for Banchero were tough to watch, but his minutes were limited due to blowouts. He’s back at home tonight where he’s averaging 28 PR for the season. 1U
