LeBron James and Anthony Davis will miss tonight’s game against Brooklyn in what I believe is a calculated effort to have LeBron break the record against the Bucks on February 9. The Raptors are 2-1 in their west coast road trip, trying to salvage their season against the Suns tonight. And finally, the Atlanta Hawks are starting their own west coast trip. We are 7-3 over our last 10 plays for +4.5U. Let’s keep this rolling!

Banchero is averaging 20 ppg on the season but has slowed down in January. He’s hit this line in 3 of the last 4 games and 1/2 against the 76ers this season. The 76ers are playing their best basketball of the season but have been getting crushed by opposing PFs of late. Philadelphia is allowing the most ppg to opposing PFs over their last 15 games. I’m expecting the 76ers to be a bit sluggish after yesterday’s victory party for the Eagles. 0.5U

The Pistons’ center has really put together a rookie season to be proud of. He’s averaging 10 points and 10 rebounds as a starter and a season-high 13.4 ppg in January. Tonight, he heads to Dallas to play a Mavericks team just trying to stay afloat without Luka Doncic or Christian Wood. Over the last 7 games, the Mavs are allowing the 4th-most rpg to opposing centers and will continue to struggle on the glass with Finney-Smith and Powell in the frontcourt. This should be an easy double-double tonight for Duren, but let’s be safe and stick to the line of 19.5. 1U

Gary Trent Jr. (TOR) over 2.5 threes (-108)

The Raptors continue their west coast road trip tonight, traveling to Phoenix. The Suns are allowing the 5th-most threes per game to opposing SGs over the last 15. Trent has hit this number in 3 of the last 4 and has 2 or more in 8 straight games. With Trent, it’s really about opportunities. He will likely need 7+ attempts to hit this figure and gets a slight bump in 3P% on the road (37%). This is always a crapshoot market so I’m wagering 0.5U.

Clint Capela (ATL) over 12.5 points (-113)

Capela is finally showing signs of his old self in the last few games. The Atlanta big man has seen 27+ minutes in 3 straight games and has started the last 5. As a starter in that stretch, he’s averaging 13 ppg, but 15 ppg over the last 3. Tonight, Capela travels to Portland where the Trail Blazers allow the most ppg to opposing centers over the last 15. They are also allowing the 5th-most ppg in the paint at home this season. Last season in Portland, Capela had 22 points. I like this line at 12.5 and do not believe we see it much longer now that Capela is once again entrenched as a (healthy) starting center. 1U
