Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. There are 24 NBA teams in action on Wednesday night with plenty of interesting games from which to pick out player props. There are also two nationally televised games for us to enjoy. To start off the evening, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks will be paying a visit to the Toronto Raptors, hoping they can reclaim 2nd spot in the East with a win. Then later LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers will be welcoming one of his former teams to town as they take on the Miami Heat. Be sure to read our NBA predictions for each of tonight’s games, but for now, let’s dive into my best NBA player prop picks.

Myles Turner over 1.5 made threes (+140)

Myles Turner is going to have a tough task matching up against Joel Embiid tonight as the Philadelphia 76ers center is a force on the inside. That should encourage him to step out to the perimeter and stretch the floor for his teammates. Over the last 5 games he has done this on 3 occasions, knocking down multiple 3-pointers in the process. That was against equally physical big men in Jonas Valanciunas, Ivica Zubac and Jarrett Allen. Look for him to take the same approach tonight. With the center making 40.8% of his perimeter shots this season, he shouldn’t require too many attempts to hit this tonight.

Nikola Vucevic over 10.5 rebounds (-113)

Nic Claxton continues to play at center for the Brooklyn Nets, which is great for opposing centers. His skinny frame coupled with his inability to shoot the ball has allowed them to get great rebounding position in their games. Over the last 5 games Jakob Poeltl, Onyeka Okongwu, Jarrett Allen and Giannis Antetokounmpo have all managed at least 11 rebounds against him. Nikola Vucevic should get his chance to do that tonight. He was able to record 15 rebounds when the teams met earlier in the season. Look for him to overpower Claxton and dominate both the offensive and defensive boards.

Steven Adams over 14.5 rebounds (-115)

Steven Adams has been on a rebounding tear for the Memphis Grizzlies, averaging 20.8 rebounds per game over the last week. His latest effort was a season-high 23-rebound performance against Domantas Sabonis, the league leader in rebounds per game. Tonight, he will be facing off against a Charlotte Hornets team that ranks 19th in the league in rebounding percentage. His direct matchup will be Mason Plumlee, who is not a reliable shooter that could drag Adams out of the paint. With the Hornets and Grizzlies ranking 27th and 29th in true shooting percentage over the last 10 games while being in the top 3 in pace, there should be a lot of rebounds for him to chase down tonight. Do not be surprised to see him around the 20-rebound mark once again.
