Friday night is a wonderful opportunity to throw on League Pass and watch NBA all night. The clocks are turned back and we’re settling in to “stay at home in sweats” time of year. A few key players will be out tonight, including Giannis, Lebron, and Jrue Holiday. Let’s find a few angles!

Jamal Murray Over 17.5 Points (-115)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

Murray has turned a corner of late. He’s played 30+min in 3 of the L5 and the 4th was 29min 47 seconds. Outside of one blow vs the Spurs, Murray is averaging 20.5PPG over the L5. The Celtics are allowing the 3rd most PPG to opposing SGs over the L7 (25.44) and Murray has had success against Boston (he had 25 in Boston in 2021). Boston is allowing 51.3PPG in the paint over the last 3 and 27% of Murray’s shots are dunks/layups. The key to this play is Murray getting to the FT line, where he’s been skittish. However, he’s had 3+ FTA in 3 of the last 4 games and Boston gives up the 9th most FTA this season. 1U.

Jalen Brunson Over 26.5 Points + Assists (-110)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

Brunson has been on a tear of late. He’s scored 20+ in 4 of the last 5, with an out of character 28% from the field vs BKL two nights ago. Detroit is allowing the 2nd most PPG to opposing PGs of the L7 and the 6th most 3PM to opposing PGs in the same time frame. The Pistons rank dead last in defensive efficiency, so assists should come easily tonight for the Knicks at home. 0.5U

Keldon Johnson Over 22.5 Points (+100)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

The Bucks will be without the best defensive player in the league tonight and that will greatly benefit Johnson who is shooting a 3rd of his shots at the time. KJ is coming off his worst performance of the season but should bounce back big against a line he’s hit in 6/11. The Bucks will also lose some perimeter defense with Jrue Holiday out and rookie Marjon Beauchamp jumps into the starting lineup. 0.5U

Ja Morant Over 5.5 Rebounds (+114)

Line available at Fanduel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

Morant is averaging 10.4 rebound chances per game since November 1st and despite having Gobert/KAT on the block, the Timberwolves are middle of the pack in rebounding rate. Over the L7 games the Timberwolves are allowing the 2nd most rebounds per game to opposing PGs. Minnesota is 2nd in the league in PACE and 13th overall in 3-point attempts per game, giving Morant a chance at longer rebounds. He’s hit this in 2 of his last 3 and finished on the hook in the one he didn’t cash. 0.5U .

Andrew Wiggins Over 17.5 Points(-113)

Line available at Fanduel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

The Cavaliers are allowing the 5th most PPG to opposing SFs over the L7 and I’d be lying if I said the revenge angle wasn’t on my mind. Wiggins was traded from Cleveland before he could even put on the uniform. If that sound silly to you, just know he’s averaged 22.1PPG for his career vs the Cavaliers (15 games). The only other team he’s averaged more against? His hometown of Toronto. Klay Thompson should struggle tonight, and Steph will have his hands full with Donovan Mitchell’s newfound appreciation for defense. 1U.
