NBA Sunday will be headlined by MVP candidate Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers traveling up to New York to take on the Knicks and all-star snub Jalen Brunson. Brunson has been a monster when playing at Madison Sqaure Garden and is featured as one of our best NBA player props.

Jalen Brunson Over 23.5 points (-121)

Line available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Brunson had some words for all-star voters in his first game since the reserves were announced. He delivered his second 40-point game of the season yesterday against a top-five defensive team recently in the Los Angeles Clippers. The point guard shot 74% from the field, including five 3-pointers, on his way to 41 points. Brunson will now face a familiar foe in the red-hot Philadelphia 76ers, against whom he has scored 23 points in both previous matchups this season.

Brunson has shown out in front of Knicks fans as of late. In his last 10 games at Madison Square Garden, he is averaging 31 points per game and has surpassed this line in eight of his last 10. The 76ers have plenty of guards to match up against Brunson like De’Anthony Melton and Matisse Thybulle, but his volume is too good to pass up. He is averaging more than 20 field-goal attempts per game even with the Knicks returning R.J. Barrett to the lineup.

Paolo Banchero Over 20.5 points (-115)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Rookie of the Year favorite Paolo Banchero has been a cash cow for NBA player prop bettors this season. His usual line of 18.5 or 19.5 points has been crushed this season and now we see it at 20.5 in a terrific matchup against the lackluster Charlotte Hornets.

Banchero has found himself in a shooting slump the last 5 games, as he is shooting 30% from the field and averaging 16 points per game. But we’re betting on Banchero’s volume today in a pace-up spot against the Hornets, whom he scored 21 points against back in October. Pistons forward Bojan Bogdanovic was a popular play on Friday night against the Hornets. He scored 17 points in the first half but only finished with 21. Look for Banchero to look for his shot early at home, where he is over this line in 5 of his last 7.
