There are 8 games on the NBA slate on Tuesday night. With 2 nationally televised games on NBA TV, there will be plenty of action for us to enjoy. The first of the nights featured games will see the Toronto Raptors welcome the Denver Nuggets to the Scotiabank Arena. Then to close out the evening the Milwaukee Bucks will visit the Phoenix Suns, with both teams looking to solidify their position in the standings.

Jalen Williams Over 15.5 points (-115)
Rookie Jalen Williams has been going from strength to strength as the season has gone on. He should continue to build on that tonight against the Brooklyn Nets. Over his last 8 games he is averaging 22.3 points per game. He is doing so on 58.3% shooting from the field and 50% shooting from beyond the arc. With the Nets middle of the pack in terms of defensive rating over the last 10 games, it is hard to see his performance drop off tonight. The 12th overall pick has hit the over on this line in 7 of his last 8 games. He dropped 15 points in the other. The visitors do have quality wing defenders. However, with Josh Giddey playmaking and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander drawing defensive attention, the rookie will have opportunities to excel tonight.

Gary Trent Jr. Over 11.5 points (-111)
Toronto Raptors guard Gary Trent Jr. scored 13 points when the sides faced off in Denver earlier this month. Tonight, he could be set to comfortably exceed that. He is fantastic in home games this season where he has been averaging 18.2 points per game. With the Nuggets just 21st in defensive rating over their last 5 outings, the guard should be able to put together another great scoring game. This season he has been making 64.3% of shots within 5 feet of the rim. With how little rim protection Nikola Jokic provides, look for the Raptors man to attack the inside. Back the over on this line as a result.
Jonas Valanciunas Over 8.5 rebounds (-128)
Jonas Valanciunas should have a strong rebounding night for the New Orleans Pelicans tonight. He has faced off against the Los Angeles Lakers 3 times this season already, and has not recorded fewer than 10 rebounds in any game. He has averaged 11.7 rebounds against them in the process. For all the talk of a recent Lakers revival, they are just 19th in true shooting percentage and 22nd in offensive rating. With the team also being 8th in pace, it should be a great combination of factors for a fantastic defensive rebounder like Valanciunas. Anthony Davis has made just a quartet 3-pointers over his last 13 games and is unlikely to pull Valanciunas away from the rim here. He should get double-digit rebounds once more tonight.
