Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. After an incredible 13-game slate last night, the NBA is giving us a breather today with just 2 games on. The first of which will see a cross conference matchup as the Dallas Mavericks take on the Miami Heat. The Mavericks find themselves outside of the play-in positions at the moment and will be desperate for a win. That will be followed with the Los Angeles Clippers trip to take on the New Orleans Pelicans.

You can find our NBA previews here. But for now check out the player props I have picked out for the 2 games.

Ivica Zubac over 8.5 rebounds (+100)

Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac is coming into tonight’s game after a strong 15-rebound performance against the Memphis Grizzlies. It has helped him take his rebounding average to 9.3 per game in the month of March. Look for him to continue that tonight against the Pelicans and Jonas Valanciunas.

Zubac should be able to remain in the paint and battle for rebounds tonight. His Lithuanian counterpart has made just 1 3-pointer in his last 5 games. He is also a threat on the offensive glass, grabbing 3.3 rebounds per game over the last 10. Look for Zubac to see large minutes to try and counter him tonight. It should allow him to grab his fair share of rebounds as he battles in the paint. With the Pelicans also leading the league in defensive rating over the last 10 games, he should have offensive rebounding opportunities himself here.

Reggie Bullock over 7.5 points (-115)

When these sides last faced off, Reggie Bullock has himself a great game. He was able to score 15 points, more than doubling his average for points per game this season. Look for him to be able to put together another good performance tonight. All of the defensive attention from the Heat will rightfully be on Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Bullock should benefit from some open looks as a result.

The Heat are a great team for shooters to face off against. Over the last 10 games, they are 29th in opponent 3-point attempts per game and 24th in opponent 3-point percentage. Bullock made 2.4 threes per game on 40.3% shooting from the arc in the month of March. If he can make at least 2 shots from 3 here, it will set him up perfectly to hit this over.
