I've been a capper since my love for sports met my proficiency with numbers and math. The NFL and NCAAF have always been my first loves, followed by the NHL. Although I prefer sports that involve hitting people, I still love capping MLB, soccer, tennis, and even some esports. Living in Florida has its perks like year-round sports of any kind. While the first full day of March Madness may be tipping off today, Thursdays are also huge days for NHL action, and hockey fans get to enjoy 11 games on tonight’s slate. Better yet, it begins with a potential Eastern Conference Finals preview between the New York Rangers and Boston Bruins! We’re just going to kick back and enjoy that matchup while we place our best NHL parlay picks elsewhere, and we’ve explained all 3 picks below. Along with our NHL mega parlay, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for today’s action!

NHL Parlay Picks (3/21)

Jets ML (-130)

Sabres ML (+180)

Blackhawks ML (+110)

NHL parlay odds: +940

Winnipeg Jets ML over New Jersey Devils (-130)

One of the best parts of our NHL parlay picks for today is that we have 3 straight money line plays, so we don’t have to sweat out multi-goal wins or even victories in regulation. Better yet, the first of our NHL parlay picks is a money line favorite. Despite being on the road, that’s the position the Jets are in, which speaks volumes itself. They currently hold the tiebreaker over the Colorado Avalanche for the top spot in the Central Division, so it’s safe to say that they’re having a fantastic season.

Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck has been a key reason why, as Winnipeg allows the absolute fewest goals per game. Meanwhile, we’ve seen a significant drop-off from the Devils this season due to their decline in goaltending, as they’re allowing the 6th-most goals per game. As if that discrepancy wasn’t enough, the Jets have beaten the Devils in 4 of the past 5 meetings, with the most recent 2 coming by final scores of 6-1 and 6-3. Feel free to make a single play on the puck line, but the first leg of our NHL parlay picks for today is the Jets on the money line.

Buffalo Sabres ML over Edmonton Oilers (+180)

Here is the reason why we’re able to take a money line favorite to get things started. We’re juicing up our NHL parlay picks with a big underdog in the Sabres tonight. We know that this one will be the toughest sell, as betting against Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl is never fun. However, Edmonton still has their weaknesses, which is why they still need to worry about avoiding a Western Conference Wild Card spot. They will likely do so, but the value is on Buffalo tonight.

We just saw the Oilers struggle to beat the Montreal Canadiens in overtime, who are among the worst teams in the Eastern Conference and NHL overall. The Sabres are no juggernaut, but they have been able to hold their own against Edmonton. In fact, they’ve done more than that, beating them in their most recent matchup and in 3 of the last 5 meetings. That includes the last time they met in Edmonton and their matchup just 11 days ago, so we’re taking the Sabres to boost our NHL parlay picks for today.

Chicago Blackhawks ML over Anaheim Ducks (+110)

Normally, the Blackhawks would also be an extremely tough sell. They have the 2nd-fewest points in the entire NHL, and outside of Connor Bedard, it’s been tough for fans to support them. However, if there is one matchup in which we have an opportunity to back them, it’s tonight against the Ducks. Even with them rather far from home, they are still only slight underdogs. That speaks to just how poorly Anaheim has been, which has been the case for a few seasons now.

Hosting teams have generally been the Ducks’ best opportunities for wins due to the travel, but they were just shut out in their home arena in a 4-0 loss the last time we saw them on the ice. For as poor as Chicago’s goaltending has been, Anaheim is one of the few teams that have been even worse; they’re allowing the 2nd-most goals per game. That was on full display when these teams met just 9 days ago, which was a 7-2 Blackhawks blowout win. They also won the first game against the Ducks this year in shutout fashion, which is enough for us to add Chicago to our NHL parlay picks for today.
