Hurricanes -1.5 (+170)

Capitals -1.5 (+110)

Penguins -1.5 (+110)

Parlay Odds +1247

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

Carolina Hurricanes -1.5 over the Boston Bruins (+170)

The last time these teams met, the Hurricanes dominated with a 7-1 victory. Don’t expect this game to have the same result, but the Hurricanes should be able to once again cover the puck line. The bottom line is that Carolina is a better team. With Tuukka Rask officially retiring, the Bruins have been left with two capable goaltenders, but two goaltenders that may have had their confidence stripped. By bringing back Rask, the Bruins isolated a player like Jeremy Swayman and put Linus Ullmark in a backup role when he was used to splitting the net. The Bruins have gone just 5-4-1 in their last 10 games and haven’t looked like the midseason team that we’re used to seeing. Additionally, the Bruins’ best player Brad Marchand has been suspended for six games. Without him, they might not have the depth to compete with Carolina. The Hurricanes have gone 7-2-1 in their last 10 games.

After a shocking loss to the Senators in their last game, Carolina should be hungry for a bounce-back victory. Bettors can set their clock to the Hurricanes, after an embarrassing loss they rebound immediately. That’s what makes them a premier team in the league. Take them on the puck line tonight.

Washington Capitals -1.5 over the Montreal Canadiens (+110)

The Montreal Canadiens have been a disaster all season and just fired their head coach. It’s hard to imagine after 24 hours that they can all rally behind their new interim head coach. They may improve some things, and a new voice is always helpful, but they’re going against the Capitals who are stacked with talent from top to bottom. The Habs are currently on a seven-game losing streak and have generated just eight wins in 45 games this season. Since making their surprising cup run, this team has fallen off the map. In their last seven losses, their opponents covered the puck line in four of them, including their last three games played.

In the most recent matchup between these teams, the Caps won 6-3 and will be looking to repeat that performance here tonight. Washington is on a two-game losing streak themselves, but this is the perfect game for a rebound opportunity. Take them on the puck line tonight.

Pittsburgh Penguins -1.5 over the Ottawa Senators (+110)

The Pittsburgh Penguins have a 15-5-3 road record this season while the Ottawa Senators are 9-11-1 on home ice. Home-ice advantage shouldn’t play a role here, the Penguins are on a four-game road winning streak. This is a total mismatch and the Penguins should win this game handily. The Pens this season have consistently been one of the best teams in the league. They’re scoring the eighth-most goals per game while allowing the third-fewest. They’ve excelled both offensively and defensively. Meanwhile, The Senators have scored the ninth-fewest goals per game and have allowed the ninth-most goals per game. In their most recent matchup, Pittsburgh covered the spread with a 6-4 victory.

The Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry has proven to be an elite starting goalie this season and should lift Pittsburgh to another road win tonight. He’s posting a 2.21 GAA and .925 SVP. Don’t overthink this one, take the Pens on the puck line tonight.
