Conference championship weekend in college basketball is here, as programs big and small are taking the court for a chance to reach the NCAA tournament. With so many exciting games, I have combed through the board and found a few edges that I believe can create a parlay with an excellent payout at nearly 7/1 odds!

Let’s take a look at my 3-team mega parlay for Saturday, but make sure you also check out our college basketball picks for the day’s biggest games.

UAB ML (+110)

Vermont -5 (-110)

Ohio State +7.5 (-110)

NCAAB parlay odds: +665

UAB Blazers ML (+110) over Florida Atlantic Owls

Jordan “Jelly” Walker had 32 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the Blazers win over North Texas in the C-USA semifinals on Friday, and now his team will have a chance to knock off the Florida Atlantic Owls to make the NCAA tournament. UAB should feel good in this position, as Florida Atlantic didn’t inspire much confidence in its semifinal win over Middle Tennessee. Furthermore, the Blazers have already defeated the Owls once this season in February. In fact, they did so while Walker had only 13 points, which bodes well for this red-hot UAB offense.

The Blazers haven’t lost in more than a month, playing at a blistering pace and averaging over 80 points per game during their 8-game winning streak. UAB will look to control the tempo against an Owls team that plays at a much slower pace, sitting outside the top 120 in KenPom’s adjusted tempo metric. Additionally, Florida Atlantic can struggle in its transition defense, allowing an effective field-goal percentage of over 50% in transition this season, according to Hoop Math. If Walker and the Blazers start off hot, UAB should have the inside track to victory in what should be one of the day’s best games.

Vermont Catamounts -5 (-110) over UMass Lowell Red Hawks

Vermont is no stranger to postseason success in the America East, but this year the Catamounts have had a rival in the UMass Lowell Red Hawks. However, Vermont’s 5-out motion offense should thrive in this championship game. The Catamounts are in the midst of a 12-game winning streak and have held the nation’s highest effective field-goal percentage since February 1 during that span. The top seed in the America East has also led the conference in 2-point and 3-point percentage. This will undoubtedly come into play against a Red Hawks defense that is 176th in adjusted defensive efficiency per KenPom and surrendered 93 points against Vermont on February 11. The predictive metrics like Vermont in this spot, and I completely agree. Look for UVM to secure back-to-back tournament appearances.

Ohio State Buckeyes +7.5 (-110) vs Purdue Boilermakers

Heading into this week, Ohio State had been playing better than its record would suggest. Fast forward, and now the Buckeyes have knocked off Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan State in consecutive days to advance to the Big Ten semifinals. Ohio State has been able to control each of its games in this tournament by playing at a methodical pace and knocking down open 3-pointers. Purdue’s perimeter defense isn’t the strongest, so it’s conceivable that the Buckeyes can continue to break down the defense and capitalize on mistakes. On the other end, there is no easy way to slow down Zach Edey near the basket, but if Ohio State can limit Purdue’s guards from the 3-point line, the Buckeyes are certainly live on Saturday. Look for Ohio State to give an inspired 60-minute effort with its season on the line.
