An intriguing Tuesday slate of college basketball is highlighted by the continuation of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, which began with a pair of games on Monday night. Next up in the challenge is Syracuse vs Illinois and Virginia vs Michigan, along with a few other fun matchups. Kentucky and Baylor are also in action today.
Let’s take a look at my 3-team mega parlay for Tuesday.
Iowa -15 (-110)
Wake Forest vs Wisconsin Under 130.5 (-110)
Virginia -7.5 alternate spread (+154)

For this parlay, we are going with 2 favorites against the spread – 1 on an alternate number – and an under play. Here is a breakdown of each leg.
Iowa -15 over Georgia Tech (-110)
Despite a recent loss to TCU, Iowa still ranks 4th nationally in turnover rate — which goes to show just how good it typically is at taking care of the basketball. If the Hawkeyes can play smart against the Yellow Jackets, they should be able to score efficiently in this game. The Hawkeyes have a big matchup edge in their ability to offensive rebound. Per KenPom, they are 50th in offensive rebounding rate — which is concerning for Georgia Tech. Due in large part to their use of zone defense, the Jackets allow offensive rebounds to their opponents at the 18th-highest rate in the country. On the other end of the floor, Georgia Tech’s offense is very poor — ranking 189th in adjusted offensive efficiency. I don’t see the underdogs coming close in this contest.

Wake Forest vs Wisconsin under 130.5 (-110)
Wake Forest is expected to have a down year and this matchup in the Kohl Center will be its hardest test yet. Wisconsin has played outstanding defense this season and is playing at one of the slowest paces in all of college basketball. The Badgers have faced multiple high-major programs and have locked them down defensively, giving up just 54 points per game. They have held their opponent to fewer than 60 points on 5 of 6 occasions, which includes holding USC to 59 points and Stanford to 50 points. According to KenPom, Wisconsin is ranked 6th in defensive 3-point percentage, which will make it difficult for Wake Forest to get going from beyond the arc. The under is the way to go.

Virginia -7.5 alternate spread over Michigan (+154)
Virginia has impressed in this young season with wins over Baylor and Illinois. The Cavaliers boast a top-5 offense in KenPom’s adjusted offensive efficiency and they shoot 44.8% from deep with an assist rate that is at the top of all of college basketball, thanks to elite guard play from Kihei Clark and Reece Beekman. They also are very good defensively, ranking 15th in adjusted defensive efficiency and allowing just 57.6 points per game.
The Wolverines have not been as good as the Cavaliers offensively or defensively. They rank 30th in adjusted offensive efficiency per KenPom. Everything starts with Hunter Dickinson when it comes to Michigan’s offense, which means Virginia needs someone who can at least slow him down. Fortunately for the Wahoos, they have someone who can do just that in Kadin Shedrick. You can expect an effective game plan for Dickinson and for the Cavaliers to force other players to beat them. UM probably won’t be able to do it.
