Martin Luther King Day was mostly reserved for the NBA (in addition to an unprecedented Monday Night Football version of the NFL playoffs), but Tuesday is mostly all about college basketball. A huge slate of action will see almost half — 12 teams to be exact — of the top 25 taking the court. That includes an all-ranked showdown between Iowa State and Texas Tech in addition to Duke vs Florida State, Kansas vs Oklahoma and Baylor vs West Virginia.
Here is our three-team mega parlay for the festivities.
Kansas -9.5 alternate spread (+215)
Tennessee -6.5 (-110)
Northwestern ML (+125)
Parlay odds: +1253
For this parlay we are going with two favorites against the spread – one on an alternate number – and one underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Kansas -9.5 over Oklahoma (+215)
Kansas bounced back from a couple of subpar performances by beating West Virginia with ease this past weekend. The Jayhawks were without guard Remy Martin and he is still questionable for Tuesday’s date with Oklahoma, but if Jalen Wilson has found his game then KU has more than enough offense both inside and out. Wilson scored 23 points against the Mountaineers and has 20+ in 2 of his last 3 games. Oklahoma has lost back-to-back contests – both on the road.

Tennessee -6.5 over Vanderbilt (-110)
The Volunteers are not a very flashy team (they only have two players that average more than 10 points per game), but their calling card is defense. The Vols have the 56th-ranked scoring defense in the country, holding their opponents to only 63.6 points per game. They also rank 3rd in the SEC with 10.3 steals per game.
Vanderbilt, on the other hand, is looking to win its first home game since mid-December. The biggest issue with the Commodores has been their inability to find any offense outside of Scottie Pippen Jr. Much like the Vols, Vanderbilt has only two players that average more than 10 points per game, and to make matters worse the ‘Dores don’t make many of the shots they take. Vandy ranks 300th in field-goal percentage, making only 41.33% of their shots on average, and the matchup against this Volunteers defense is only going to add insult to injury.

Northwestern ML over Wisconsin (+125)
The Wildcats are coming off a 64-62 road win over former No. 10 Michigan State this past Saturday. Their 66th-ranked offense is led by 6’10’’ senior forward, Pete Nance (younger brother of Larry Nance) who is leading the team in points, rebounds, and blocks with 17.1 ppg, 7.7 rpg, and 1.6 bpg — which ranks 5th in the Big Ten.
Teammates Boo Buie (who leads the conference with 5.7 apg), Chase Audige, and Ryan Young are all scoring in double-figures with 14.6 ppg, 11.8 ppg, and 10.0 ppg, respectively. The Wildcats were impressive in their recent win over Michigan State, holding head coach Tom Izzo’s starting 5 to a combined 25 points and limiting the Spartans to 17.8 fewer points than they had averaged at home. On top of that, Northwestern is scoring 79.3 ppg at home — which is 13.0 more points than it averages on the road. Lastly, the ‘Cats are limiting their opponents to 65.2 ppg while the Badgers are allowing their opponents to score 71.7 ppg in their last 3. At home, this is a winnable game for NW.
