Ten weeks into the 2021 college football season, Georgia is far and away the best team in the nation. The Bulldogs are one of our best teaser plays this weekend along with Minnesota and Oklahoma State.

We have free picks on the side and total for all of the big games, which you can view in our NCAAF picks tab. Make sure to also catch up on all our analysis articles in our college football news section. For now we are talking about teasers, and for these we are shifting lines by 6 points. Let’s dive right into the best ones for Week 11.

Georgia Bulldogs -14 (6-point tease from -20) over Tennessee Volunteers

So far this season Georgia has been favored by more than 20 points 5 times and has covered only twice. At the same time, the Bulldogs have defeated only 1 opponent by fewer than 2 touchdowns, and that was Clemson in the first week of the year. As that data suggests, you have to feel good about teasing this spread down from 20 to 14. You move it off the key number of 20, through the key number of 17, and down to the key number of 14. At worst this should be a push, but the No. 1 team in the land is likely to win this one by more than 2 TDs. Although Tennessee’s offense is formidable, it has not faced any kind of defense like that of Georgia. No opponent has scored more than 13 points against UGA during the 2021 campaign.

Minnesota Golden Gophers +11.5 (6-point tease from +5.5) over Iowa Hawkeyes

This is a perfect opportunity for a 6-point tease. You can move the line through the key numbers of 6, 7, and 10, and there is a lot more value when you are teasing what is expected to be a low-scoring contest by 6 points compared to when you are teasing a game that is likely to get into the 70s. In a defensive struggle, 6 points are more valuable than they are in a shootout. With the total for this Big Ten battle set at 37.5, you have to play the percentages and think that Iowa won’t score enough to cover a -11.5 spread. Heck, the Hawkeyes have scored a grand total of 31 points in their last 3 outings. The Golden Gophers are also 4-2 in the conference and tied for first place in the West Division. They are surrendering just 16 points per game over their last 5 contests.

Oklahoma State Cowboys -6.5 (6-point tease from -12.5) over TCU Horned Frogs

Oklahoma State is undefeated at home this season. They have given up a mere 3 points in each of their last 2 games, to Kansas and West Virginia. No opponent has pinned more than 24 points on the Mountaineers all season. On the other side of the ball, running back Jaylen Warren has racked up at least 80 yards from scrimmage in 7 consecutive contests, including 4 performances of at least 130 total yards during that stretch. Warren should be primed for a huge day against TCU, which is saddled with one of the worst run defenses in the entire nation. This is another great teasing opportunity through the key numbers of 10 and 7. Oklahoma State only has to win by a touchdown to cover instead of by double figures.
