CS:GO top 10 players power rankings

NiKo of FaZe Clan is one of the top players in CS:GO

With most of the best CS:GO teams locked in the middle of a major event, this week’s Power Rankings, aren’t just about the top 10 teams in the world right now. Today we look at the current top 10 players in the world. Whether its Europe’s three superstars or one of the many undervalued North American players. CS:GO has superstar caliber players all over the globe. Here are the Top 10 Players Power Rankings.

1. ZywOo

Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut is no stranger to being near the top of the charts in most categories. 2020 has been no different, as ZywOo has been Team Vitality’s heartbeat. With a 1.33 rating and 0.84 kills per round average, he’s going to be tough to top this season. Vitality is still alive in cs summit 6 Europe. At 19 years old, this guy isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

2. s1mple

Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has been at the top of his game for a while now, and while he is still pretty young, he has easily put himself near the top of the food chain in CS:GO. He has been the best or the second-best player in the last two seasons. He currently has a 1.28 rating and an average of 0.84 kills per round. His team Natus Vincere needs to pick it up in July.

3. syrsoN

ZywOo and s1mple’s numbers put them at the top, but their teams haven’t always benefitted as Florian “syrsoN” Rische’s has. BIG has climbed the rankings a lot, behind syrsoN’s offensive skill, and a strong 1.22 rating. He just hurdled FaZe Clan’s NiKo for this third spot.

4. NiKo

Like s1mple and ZywOo, NiKo is in the category of Europe’s elite players. His numbers haven’t been as good either, as FaZe Clan continues to struggle. His rating has dropped considerably over the last month of play, but as long as he can stay in the upper echelon, he has a shot to be named as one of the top players in 2020.

5. device

2019’s #3 player of the year, Nicolai “device” Reedtz’s hasn’t quite been at the level he showed last season. However his team Astralis hasn’t been performing at the same level either. He still has a decent rating at 1.21. He still has time to jump a couple of players ahead of him.

6. EliGE

Jonathan “EliGE: Jablonowski has remained consistent, but the same can’t be said about his team. He’s pushing the 1.20 rating mark, but Team Liquid will need a little more if they want to regain their previous ranking in the world.

7. yuurih

Yuri “yuurih” Santos shouldn’t come as a surprise among the current top players in CS:GO. His numbers speak for themselves at a rating of 1.17 and an average of 0.74 kills per round. He has also pushed his team FURIA to the highest spot in the Americas.

8. Brollan

Fnatic has relied heavily on Brollan and it is paying off, as they have made one of the biggest turn arounds in CS:GO. Heading into June, it looked like the team was destined to fall down the World Rankings, but reaching the upper bracket semifinals of cs_summit 6 Europe, has Fnatic back to the level expected. Brollan’s 1.14 rating doesn’t hurt either.

9. blameF

You might be thinking, he’s got a better rating than most on this list. True Benjamin Bremer better known as blameF has really been a key cog for Complexity. His 1.27 rating stands out, but with his team lacking championships and finals appearances, he is limited to 9th on this list.

10. mantuu

Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski has had an up and down 2020, but with his numbers steadily climbing throughout June, the OG has begun its climb back towards what it once was. His 1.14 rating edges him ahead of other strong players such as Magisk and ropz.
