The Brazilian squad will likely allow Al-Hilal to dominate possession, which will be a change of pace for the Saudis, as they only won the possession battle against RB Salzburg (57%) at this tournament. They’re truly at their best when they can get out and run, and a Fluminense back four anchored by legendary CB Thiago Silva won’t let this happen. They may need extra time, but I’ll back the Brazilians to advance to the semifinals.

Even if he doesn’t directly affect the scoring, he should test Al-Hilal GK Bono at least once.
Arias has recorded 1+ shots on target in 3 of Fluminense’s 4 matches at the FIFA Club WC and has tested the opposing goalkeeper in 7 of their previous 10 games in all competitions. Manchester City’s starting forwards combined for 6 shots on target against Al-Hilal, as Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland and Savinho all recorded at least 1 in that game, and I expect Arias to do the same when he goes up against this Saudi Arabian side in the quarterfinals.
