We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Saturday night including action from the UFC, MLS and College Football.

One pick is taken from each sport and a winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1060 with DraftKings; that’s more than 10/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.

MLB: Detroit Tigers vs Chicago White Sox -1.5 (-140) pm ET

This will be Lucas Giolito’s final start of the season, and it marks a third consecutive full season in which he’s put up excellent numbers. Giolito comes in with an 11-9 record and a 3.58 ERA through his first 30 starts.

The Tigers are a deceptively good team, but they’re nowhere near the White Sox. Detroit looks even more feeble when Matt Manning is on the mound. Manning, who made his debut in June and has remained in the rotation ever since, strikes out hitters at a lower rate than just about any starter in the game these days, and that’s led to trouble for him – he comes in with an ERA over 6. The White Sox won’t lose to him with the playoffs next week. Take Chicago on the run line -1.5.

MLS: DC United Win or Draw (-185) vs Orlando City SC, 7:30 pm ET

DC won convincingly in a tough interconference matchup against Minnesota on Wednesday, and while just 3 points separate the third spot from the eighth in the East, it’s DC who are immediately behind New England and Nashville with just over a month left in the season. They’re playing better as a unit than their opponents, and they’ve got nothing to lose in a season they weren’t expected to contend. Double your chances and take a draw or a DC win.

College Football: Connecticut Huskies +14.5 (-105) vs Vanderbilt Commodores, 7:30pm ET

The spread on this game is too high for a game where neither team can score points. Vanderbilt averages 12.5 ppg and 284 yards per game. UConn averages 14.2 ppg and 219.5 yards per game. Again there are only so many ways to say that these teams can not score points. This will be a first one to 21 points wins. This spread is too high and this game should be closer to a 21-14 finish. Take the points and enjoy the show.

UFC: Johnny Walker ML (+125) vs Thiago Santos, 9:30pm ET

Johnny Walker comes into this fight with an MMA record of 18-5. He is 5-2 in the UFC, most recently beating Ryan Spann by TKO/KO back in September of 2020. Walker is averaging 4.41 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 72%. He is absorbing 3.51 strikes and has a striking defense of 31%.

Thiago Santos has lost 3 fights in a row and could be in trouble here as well. Walker has plenty of power and has won 15 of his 18 fights by TKO/KO, so backing Walker to pull the upset will be the play.
