MLB pick today: Texas Rangers +1.5 over Tampa Bay Rays (-140), 6:40 pm ET

These teams have jumped out to the front of the league in almost every offensive category, including ranking 1st and 2nd in runs per game. On the mound for the visitors is Andrew Heaney, a lefty who has come into his own in the last few weeks. Heaney finished May with a 3.26 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP which included several impressive outings against the Orioles, Mariners and Rockies. And to little surprise, he’s been better away from Globe Life Field, which has seen a lot of high-scoring games, as he’s posted a 1.82 ERA and 0.89 WHIP in 4 starts on the road.

The Rays will counter with Tyler Glasnow, who has made 2 starts this season and has allowed 4 runs and 9 hits along with 14 strikeouts against the Dodgers and Red Sox. However, it’s concerning that Glasnow doesn’t completely seem like himself yet. With that in mind, backing the Rangers to keep this game close will be our play as they have looked too good to get blown out.

MLB pick today: Miami Marlins ML over Chicago White Sox (+120), 8:10 pm ET

The Marlins head into Chicago to begin their series against the White Sox tonight. They’re bringing their top prospect Eury Perez to the mound, who has been impressive so far this season with a 3-1 record, 2.25 ERA & 1.17 WHIP.

The White Sox are starting Dylan Cease, who has more than doubled his ERA from last season. The Marlins aren’t exactly a power hitting team, they should still have some success against Cease. At plus-odds, backing the Marlins with Perez on the mound will be our play as he has been much more consistent.

NBA pick today: Miami Heat ML over Denver Nuggets (+136), 8:30 pm ET

As crazy as it sounds, losing Game 3 isn’t the end of the world for the Heat. They’ve been counted out many times in this postseason, so this is nothing new to them. Head coach Erik Spoelstra has proved he can make adjustments, therefore backing the Heat to win and tie this series will be our play tonight.

MLB pick today: San Diego Padres vs Colorado Rockies – Over 11.5 runs (-110), 8:40 pm ET

On the hill for the visitors is Yu Darvish, and he owns a 4.10 ERA with a 1.12 WHIP and was even worse in May with a 5.74 ERA. Also, a trend has started to develop with Darvish that he struggles to perform on the road. On the road, he owns a 6.08 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP in 5 outings and will start in the most hitter-friendly park in the league. To make matters worse, Davish has never been great at Coors Field, posting a 5.26 career ERA in Colorado.

It’s only June, but Colorado’s Austin Gomber has had a really rough season. For starters, the lefty owns a 6.99 ERA through 12 starts. On top of that, He posted a 7.57 ERA in April and a 6.41 ERA in May. It gets worse though as Gomber has a ERA of 8.64 in 7 starts at Coors Field. Because both pitchers have been poor to say the least, backing the over will be our play.
