EPL pick today: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Fulham – Draw (+225), 3:00 pm ET

Wolves’ push for Premier League survival suffered an unexpected setback with a home loss to Bournemouth but they can get back on the point-scoring wagon by claiming a tie at Fulham this afternoon.

Fulham, on the other hand, recorded a third successive win in all competitions at Brighton last time out. The Cottagers can count themselves lucky to have stolen that win though, and their expected goals against figure of 1.65 suggest they aren’t as defensively sound as their recent run of 3 EPL shutouts would indicate. Aleksandar Mitrovic’s potential return from injury would be a boost for Fulham but the Serbia striker could end up being frustrated by a well-organized and gritty Wolves team. For that reason, backing the draw will be the play.

NHL pick today: Toronto Maple Leafs 3-Way ML over Minnesota Wild (-115), 7:00 pm ET

The Wild and Maple Leafs are 2 teams that are looking to make deeper postseason runs than they had last year. The Leafs are still sitting in 2nd place in the Atlantic Division and are coming off a dominant 6-3 victory over the Buffalo Sabres. This game will be played in Toronto, where the Leafs’ 22-6-4 record is the 3rd-best in the league. It’s also where they defeated the Wild earlier this season. This should be one of the more exciting games of the weekend, and backing the Maple Leafs to win in regulation will be the play.

NBA pick today: New York Knicks +1 vs Washington Wizards (-110), 7:10 pm ET

This game will feature the New York Knicks and the Washington Wizards. With this being the first game game back from the all-star break, there is no advantage in the rest department. Still, it was surprising to see that Washington was made a favorite at home. The Wizards’ home numbers are nothing special (11-14-1 ATS), while New York has been one of the better road teams in the NBA this season (19-10 ATS). As road underdogs the Knicks are winning half of the time and covering even more than that. They are the better team, therefore backing them to cover will be the play.

NHL pick today: Los Angeles Kings ML over New York Islanders (+105), 7:37 pm ET

LA has now dropped two straight games heading into tonight’s contest with the Islanders, but there is reason to believe they can turn it around in this game. The Kings are dominant on the defensive end of the ice, ranking 7th in xGA per 60 minutes, and they should be able to slow down an over-performing Islanders offense. In comparison, the Islanders rank 25th in the same defensive category and rely on goalie Ilya Sorokin to cover up some of their defensive flaws.

Even though the Kings are playing on the second night of a back-to-back, they should come out motivated to pick up the win after a tough loss last night.
