There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Sunday, including at Aqueduct race track. We have been crushing our horse picks for several months now (up 194.45 units dating back to Aug. 5). We also hit a 6/1 winner on Friday and picked three winners in five races on Saturday. Let’s maintain the momentum!
Here are three runners whom we expected to have a leg up on the rest of the competition. It’s time to dive in and discuss these potentially profitable plays.
1:18 pm Aqueduct (Race 4) – Analyze It 6/5
Built on a couple of promising placed efforts in allowance optional claiming events at Belmont Park and Saratoga when delivering a length victory having made all in a mile contest on turf at the first named venue last month. Has competed at a higher level including when placed at the Breeders’ Cup back in 2018 and the son of Point Of Entry is taken to complete a double with Irad Ortiz taking the ride for Chad Brown.
1:45 pm Aqueduct (Race 5) – Goodnight Olive 4/5
Registered a solid second place finish behind a more experienced rival when finishing runner-up in a six furlong maiden special weight at Gulfstream Park in March. Made no mistake when returning from a break to put daylight between herself and her nine rivals in a six furlong maiden special weight at Keeneland just under a month ago. Extra furlong here should prove no issue and the daughter of Ghostzapper can complete a double stepping up to allowance company.
3:43 pm Aqueduct (Race Race 9) – Classy Edition 9/5
Made the perfect start to her racing career when scoring by six-and-three-quarter-lengths having raced in fourth in the early stages in a maiden special weight over five-and-one-half-furlongs at Saratoga in early September. Maintained her unbeaten record with victory in a state-bred stakes contest over seven furlongs at Belmont Park later that month and she is taken to complete a hat-trick dropping back in distance having delivered a 48.96 four furlong work at Belmont Park a week ago.
