Horse Racing picks for Belmont Park race track on Friday, June 10: Bleecker Street can be queen of New York

Horse racing at Belmont Park

There is plenty of great horse racing across America on Friday, including at Belmont Park race track. We have been on fire with our picks for a long time now, and yesterday’s 2 wins from 3 picks means were are up +288.70 units with our race selections to our recommended stakes dating back to August 5, 2021. Let’s keep it rolling!

Here are our best bets for today’s high-quality action at Belmont Park.

4:42 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 8, Belmont Gold Cup) – Abaan 5/2 (2-star play)

Race 8 at Belmont Park is the first of 4 straight graded races and this is the $400,000 Grade 2 Belmont Gold Cup stakes over 2 miles on the turf for older horses. One who catches the eye is Abaan, who is by Will Take Charge, a long-striding galloper who had stamina in abundance.

Todd Pletcher’s gelding has won over this trip at Gulfstream Park, which is a massive plus as this is a specialist distance so he is the one they all have to beat.

5:17 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 9, True North Stakes) – Jackie’s Warrior 2/5 (3-star play)

The $300,000 Grade 2 True North Stakes is all about Jackie’s Warrior and she is likely to go off a very short priced favourite. I wouldn’t want to be taking her on.

She is a 4-time Grade 1 winner, one of which was at this course, and this extended 6-furlong trip should be ideal, so this should be a routine victory.

5:50 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 10, New York Stakes) – Bleecker Street 5/2 (2-star play)

Chad Brown saddles more than half the field in the $750,000 Grade 1 New York Stakes as he is represented by 4 of the 7 due to line up and it will be something of a surprise should none of his team win. I like his filly in stall 5, Bleecker Street, who is a perfect 6 from 6 thus far.

This tough daughter of Quality Road has been a revelation while moving through the grades and she’s already a triple graded-stakes winner who doesn’t look to be in any mood to relinquish her unbeaten record just yet.

6:22 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 11, Intercontinental Stakes) – Jouster 12/1 (1-star play)

A field of 13 fillies and mares is set to line up for the finale at Belmont Park, the $200,000 Grade 3 Intercontinental Stakes over 6 furlongs on the turf, and Jouster can hit the board at double-digit odds.

Flavien Prat’s mount is a Grade 2 winner and should come on fitness-wise from her last run at Keeneland, so it would not be a surprise if she goes close from a good draw in stall 5.
