There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Thursday, including at Belmont Park race track. We are on fire with our picks, as an 8/1 winner on Wednesday brought our profit to 88.7 units dating back to August 5. Let’s keep it rolling! Here are 3 runners whom we think look to be a class above the opposition in their respective races. It’s time to dive in and take a look at some potentially lucrative plays.

2:38 pm Belmont Park (Race 2) – Street Vendor 2/1

Caught the eye in delivering a second place finish when beaten three-quarters-of-a-length by a more experienced rival in a maiden special weight over a mile-and-one-sixteenth at Saratoga last month. Raced from off the pace under today’s rider Joel Rosario on that occasion and is likely to have improved for that experience. Advertised his wellbeing with a 51.35 four furlong breeze on the turf training track at Saratoga recently and can break his maiden at the second time of asking.

3:09 pm Belmont Park (Race 3) – Mahaamel 3/5

The son of Into Mischief broke his maiden when scoring by three-and-a-quarter-lengths in a seven furlong maiden special at this venue at the start of June and has since registered two creditable places in allowance company at Saratoga. Most recent of those came when delivering a third place finish over the same trip last month and he looks capable of making his first start over a mile a winning one with John Velazquez taking the ride for trainer Todd Pletcher.

5:16 pm Belmont Park (Race 7) – Blitz To Win 6/5

The selection has finished on the board in three of his six starts to date including when placing third in a maiden special weight over a mile-and-one-eighth at Saratoga last time out. Finished fourth over six-and-one-half-furlongs at this venue prior to that and Barclay Tagg’s charge can break his maiden at the seventh attempt following a 46:01 four furlong breeze, the fastest of 46 to work at the distance on the day at this venue four days ago.
