Made the perfect start to his career when impressing in taking a maiden special weight over six furlongs at Santa Anita by thirteen-and-a-quarter-lengths at the end of April. Delivered a big speed figure on that occasion and while he’s been absent since he represents a good stable in that of John Sadler and comes here on the back of some solid clocked works including a 59.60 over five furlongs here at the end of last month.
9:07 pm Del Mar (Race 10) – Elm Drive 5/2
Unbeaten in two starts following up an impressive front running performance when taking a maiden special weight over five furlongs at Los Alamitos by eight lengths when debuting at the end of June with a head triumph in the Grade 2 Sorrento Stakes at this venue early last month. Saw off today’s rival Eda by a head on that occasion with the pair well clear of the third and is taken to confirm that form with Juan Hernandez up.

The son of Lakerville has placed on all five previous starts including when runner-up, beaten one-and-a-quarter-lengths in a maiden special weight contest over a mile on turf at this track last month. Making his first appearance at this venue on that occasion and with the extra sixteenth here likely to suit he is taken to break his maiden at the sixth time of asking with Flavien Prat, on board for the colts two most recent starts booked to ride.
