There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Wednesday, including at Indiana Grand race track. Here are four runners whom we think look to be a class above the opposition in their respective races. Let’s dive in and take a look at some potentially lucrative plays.

4:27 pm Indiana Grand (Race 3) – Fahan +160

Costing $235,000 as a yearling, this daughter of Honor Code has caught the eye with some good morning work at Keeneland and Indiana Grand in recent weeks. Given her price-tag, connections evidently think plenty of her and those with experience in this contest don’t set an insurmountable standard. Brad Cox has his string in excellent form at present, with 40% of his last 50 runners winning, and this debutante has a great chance of making a winning start.

6:00 pm Indiana Grand (Race 6) – Starspangledxpress +120

After reaching the show on four consecutive occasions to close out 2020, he’s returned in superb form in 2021. He’s won both his starts this year in impressive fashion, quickening clear smartly in a $39,000 event over the mile last time. This is another step up the grading ladder, but he’s in scintillating form at present and after just thirteen starts, it’s unlikely we’ve seen the best of him just yet. His early pace should carry him to the lead despite being drawn in gate five and if he does land in front, he’ll be a very tough horse to pass.

7:33 pm Indiana Grand (Race 9) – Miss Tourista +250

Rodolphe Brisset’s filly got off the mark at the third attempt with victory at Tampa Bay in April, running well in two subsequent starts at Belmont in allowance optional claiming company. After just five career starts, this daughter of Tourist remains thoroughly unexposed and she has her sights dramatically lowered today. She has clocked some good figures of late and if matching those against lesser opposition, she won’t be for catching under Chris Landeros.
