There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Tuesday, including at Parx race track. Here are five runners whom we think look to be a class above the opposition in their respective races. Let’s dive in and take a look at some potentially lucrative plays.

2:47 pm Parx (Race 5) – Tringale +200

He arrives on a hat-trick, having picked up both a claimer and allowance optional claimer at Parx in his two most recent starts. The latter success came at today’s $47,000 level, making all the running in impressive fashion. Ruben Silvera burned off his rivals with this gelding’s high cruising speed and he’s likely to adopt the same tactics in this race. Drawn in gate four, he should comfortably make the rail and after just a pair of starts in Philadelphia, he remains unexposed at this venue. If he’s able to build a small lead early on, these rivals won’t find him coming back to them.

3:15 pm Parx (Race 6) – Algorix +800

Consistency has been the key for this seven-year-old, who was a winner of a lower grade Parx claimer back in April. He’s remained in mainly good form since, placing in a pair of subsequent claiming races, latterly at $21,000 level. He ran poorly here last time, but those types of effort are rare and it’s worth forgiving one minor blip. His prior form entitles him to plenty of respect at this level and from a good draw in gate four, he can make his presence felt at prohibitive odds.

4:11 pm Parx (Race 8) – Glory Song +120

Trained by Jamie Ness, he’s a four-time winner in his career to date and gained the most recent success at Parx back in March. Upped to $41,000 level on his next outing, he pulled miles clear with the eventual winner, shipped to Delaware and Monmouth for his two most recent starts. He was beaten just half a length in a $50,000 allowance optional claimer on the latter occasion and he finds himself against weaker opposition back at Parx today. He sets a daunting standard and returning to a venue he has a strong record at, he can record a fifth career success.
