2:01 pm Parx (Race 4) – Under The Radar 2/1 (2-star play)

The four-year-old performed well at this venue when delivering a three-quarters-of-a-length victory in a $25,000 starter contest over a mile-and-one-sixteenth here in early April. The gelding has made just one subsequent start with that coming when eight lengths fourth in an allowance optional claimer at Timonium last month. The gelding should be suited by the return to a starter event and he looks capable of helping trainer Jamie Ness improve on his 25% strike-rate (103/415) at this meeting.

2:55 pm Parx (Race 6) – Fancy Scepter 2/1 (2-star play)

The daughter of Diving Rod has finished on the board in six of her last seven starts including when runner-up on the main track here on her penultimate start. The pick followed that up with a half-length victory in a $30,000 maiden claiming contest over this trip here 28th August. Paco Lopez, on board on that occasion is again in the saddle here and his mount looks up to following up tackling previous winners for the first time. 

3:49 pm Parx (Race 8) – Ifihadachance 5/2 (2-star play)

The veteran showed good form for her previous stable finishing on the board in two starter contests in the spring. The daughter of Courageous Cat has registered career wins nine and ten since rejoining the Michael V Pino barn with the second of those wins coming by a nose in an $8,000 starter optional claiming race over six furlongs at Monmouth Park. The return to this track is in her favor and she is selected to complete a hat-trick.
