There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Wednesday, including at Saratoga race track. We have had nine winners from our last 17 picks, and that adds up to a cool profit of 15.2 units. Let’s try to keep that streak going with four runners who we think look to be a class above the opposition in their respective races. It’s time to dive in and take a look at some potentially lucrative plays.

2:15 pm Saratoga (Race 3) – Mr. Buff 7/5

Race 3 at Saratoga is the $100,000 Evan Shipman Handicap over a mile and an eighth on the dirt and this one can go to John Kimmel’s Mr. Buff. This Chestnut gelding has won twice here, one of which was this race two years ago and he still holds a very good level of form for a seven-year-old having picked up a Listed and a Black Type contest at the start of the year. On his best form he really should be too good for these and looks a solid play in this contest.

2:49 pm Saratoga (Race 4) – Gotta Go Mo 7/5

John Kimmel has a fantastic chance of taking Race 4 at Saratoga with Gotta Go Mo who has won three of her last five starts and looks to have a really good opportunity of picking up another victory in this $105,000 Allowance Optional Claiming event. This daughter of Uncle Mo, who himself won here, has won on both occasions she has contested this grade and I see no reason why she can’t remain unbeaten in this sphere as there could still be more improvement to come.

4:29 pm Saratoga (Race 7) – Elle Est Forte 6/1

An open looking $103,000 Allowance Optional Claimer is Race 7 on Saratoga’s card and Elle Est Forte, who broke her maiden tag last time out, can strike for Ian Wilkes and his team. That win was over this distance of a mile and an eighth on the turf which could prove to be her optimum as she’s a daughter of Flintshire who had a very good turn of foot on the turf so that can only enhance her claims of winning this.

5:39 pm Saratoga (Race 9) – Fauci 15/1

The penultimate race at Saratoga is the hotly contested $120,000 Mahony Stakes for three-year-olds on the turf and the speedy Fauci could well surprise at double figure odds here. He has been showing a very good level of form with many placed efforts in Listed and Black Type company and from stall number two he should be able to put up a bold showing.
