Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief write-ups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!

I pride myself in being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside with my MLB and NFL record.  Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite plays for Sunday:

Malcom Brogdon (Pacers) under 19.5 Points (-120)

Line available at Fanduel at the time of publishing.

An uncomfortable under to say the least. Brogdon did score 25 against the Bucks in October but Milwaukee was missing all-NBA defender, Jrue Holiday. In 4 career matchups against each other, Brogdon is 0/4 and only averaging 14 points. For the season, Brogdon is 8/16 on this line but has only scored 20 points once in his last 5 games played. After a sluggish start on the defensive end for the Bucks, they have locked in and are only allowing 98 points per game over their last 5 which is best in the association. I think we see Indiana look at guys like Domantas Sabonis and Caris LeVert, who have had success against the Bucks in the past.

Steven Adams (Grizzlies) under 6.5 Points (-132)

The 9-year vet’s scoring has dropped significantly since he left OKC. Last season on the Pelicans, his average dropped over 3 points down to 7.6 ppg and now down to 6.7 in for the 21-22 campaign. He was never known to be a scorer coming out of the University of Pittsburgh, but Adams does feed off good point guard play. Unfortunately, Memphis lost star point guard Ja Morant on Friday night. It will be interesting to see how Memphis adjusts. They will lean on guys like Bane, Brooks, and Jackson to make up the 24 ppg that Morant was averaging.

Adams simply is not shooting enough to reach the 7 point plateau. In his last 6 games, Adams has failed to reach 7 points in all 6 games and only scored two points in 5 of those games.
