The 2025 MLB season keeps rolling along, and Saturday features a full 15-game slate for us to enjoy. I’m 27-15 on my MLB best bets this year and the Pickswise MLB handicapping team as a whole is 63-42-5 in these MLB best bets this season. Let’s keep it going as we get into today’s top picks on Saturday, June 14.

You can also find out our experts’ MLB picks for EVERY game today.

MLB best bet: NY Yankees first 5 innings -0.5 over Boston Red Sox (-125)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing. Playable to -130.

My first MLB best bet for this slate comes in Boston, where the Red Sox will square off against their hated rivals from New York. While I backed Boston in Friday’s contest, the Yankees have the decided edge on the mound on Saturday, which is why I’m going to target the visitors in the first 5 innings of this one. New York is due for a bit of positive regression on offense following a paltry 1-run performance in the series opener, especially since they’ll be taking on Hunter Dobbins (4.20 ERA, bottom 20th percentile strikeout rate), who just surrendered a couple of homers to Aaron Judge and New York a week ago. The Yankees should also get a bounce-back outing from Carlos Rodon, who has allowed just 6 runs over his past 5 outings on the road this season.

MLB best bet: Atlanta Braves -1.5 over Colorado Rockies (-150)

Odds available at BetRivers Sportsbook at time of publishing. Playable to -165.

For my second MLB best bet on Saturday’s card, I’ll be fading the Rockies once again in Atlanta. While I successfully backed the over in Friday’s contest, the Colorado offense can’t be expected to produce at the same level against Spencer Strider and a Braves bullpen that has found its groove of late. The Rockies are countering with Chase Dollander, who holds a very poor 6.85 ERA and ranks inside the bottom 10 percentile among all qualified starters in xERA, barrel rate and chase rate (Baseball Savant). The Braves lineup had a terrific showing on Friday, and I’m expecting a similar result in a game where Atlanta has a myriad of hitters (Ronald Acuna Jr. and Austin Riley chief among them) who should see success against Dollander and the Rockies shaky bullpen.
