The 2025 MLB season keeps rolling along, and Tuesday features a full 15-game slate for us to enjoy. I’m 23-15 on my MLB best bets this year and the Pickswise MLB handicapping team as a whole is 57-41-4 in these MLB best bets this season. Let’s keep it going as we get into today’s top picks on Tuesday, June 10. You can also find out our experts’ MLB picks for EVERY game today.

MLB best bet: San Diego Padres team total over 3.5 (-130)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing. Playable to -140.

My first MLB best bet for this slate comes in San Diego, where the Padres’ offense should once again exceed its team total at home. This was a wager that I targeted in the series opener, and I’m going right back to the well in this heated rivalry, one where the common theme in these regular-season meetings tends to be offense.

Both of these lineups have the ability to make things hard on opposing pitchers, but I like that value we’re getting with the home team on Tuesday, specially since Los Angeles has yet to decide who will be on the mound. The Dodger bullpen was also heavily used in Monday’s victory, which only further pushes me in the direction of Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr. and the Padres offense.

MLB best bet: Texas Rangers first 5 innings ML over Minnesota Twins (-110)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing. Playable to -150.

For my second MLB best bet on Tuesday’s card, I’ll be targeting the Rangers on the money line in the first 5 innings. While Texas has not been an overly impressive team over the past month, Texas does hold a significant advantage on the mound in this matchup. Tyler Mahle (2.02 ERA, .245 wOBA, top 25% in barrel rate & hard-hit rate) has been very strong this season, and he’ll be going up against a Twins lineup that is a below average unit in slugging and OPS.

As for Minnesota, the Twins are sending Simeon Woods Richardson to the mound, and the right-hander has some of the worst expected metrics in the league (5.83 xERA, 47.8% hard-hit rate, .557 xSLG) to this point in the season. As long as Texas can scratch off a couple of runs against the Minnesota starter, this wager should be very live on Tuesday.
