NBA pick today: Indiana Pacers -3 over Detroit Pistons (-115), 7:10 pm ET

Two days ago the Pacers and Pistons met up in the same building they’re playing in tonight, and Indiana led by as many as 16 points on the way to winning by 6, which was enough to cover the spread. The Pacers are 6-3 SU in their last 9 meetings against Detroit and have covered in 4 of their last 5 road games.

The Pistons on the other hand, are on an 11-game losing streak and they have yet to win a game against a team from their own division this season in 12 attempts. They’re the owners of the worst record in the NBA on percentage points, giving themselves a solid chance of landing the #1 pick in the upcoming draft. Meanwhile, the Pacers are still in the run to finish in one of the play-in tournament spots, and a win would be extremely beneficial. For that reason, backing the Pacers to cover will be the play.

NHL pick today: Colorado Avalanche -1.5 over Montreal Canadiens (-110), 7:30 pm ET

Colorado hasn’t been as dominant as they were last season, but they’ve also been without Gabriel Landeskog all season. Regardless, not running away with the Western Conference has them remaining motivated for this game.

Now facing the last place team in the Atlantic Division, this should be a stepping stone in the right direction. Both Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen had multiple points in their win on Saturday, and the Avs have not had many issues with Montreal. While these teams don’t meet often, Colorado haven’t lost to the Canadiens in over 4 years. With Colorado still motivated to rack up wins, we’ll back them on the puck line for tonight’s game.

NBA pick today: Atlanta Hawks -5 over Minnesota Timberwolves (-110), 7:40 pm ET

Losing their last 2 games to the 76ers and the Nets has further complicated the Timberwolves’ playoff situation. Now they hit the road, where they are just 14-18 SU this season, to play a team who have beaten them in the last 5 meetings by an average of 13.8 points per game. Not only that, but in their last 19 games in Atlanta, the Timberwolves have recorded just 3 wins.

With a dominant 5-0 ATS/SU record in the last 5 meetings and 16 wins in the last 19 at State Farm Arena, backing the Hawks will be the play.

NHL pick today: Dallas Stars 3-Way ML over Seattle Kraken (+125), 10:07 pm ET

The Dallas Stars and Seattle Kraken get a quick rematch from Saturday, as the two meet tonight in Seattle. Dallas is likely to exploit a middling Kraken defense similar to their game on Saturday. The Stars also have the advantage in net and on defense, so Seattle will have to work extra hard to convert on their offensive chances.

This game is in Seattle, but as their Saturday game was also in Seattle, there was no travel required for either team, so rest shouldn’t play a factor here. Backing the Stars to grab another win looks to be the best play as they managed to win the previous game with no production from Jason Robertson and Jamie Benn.
