Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The Los Angeles Clippers will be visiting the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night in what will be the final NBA game before the All-Star break. The Clippers are catching their opponents at a great time too. While the hosts are on a 2-game winning streak, they remain without the injured Kevin Durant. The visitors tonight are 1 of only 2 teams with winning road records in the Western Conference this season. Considering these sides are also separated by just half a game in the standings, we should be in for a thrilling encounter.

Check out the Clippers vs Suns Same Game Parlay I have put together for the game below. Be sure to take a look at the rest of our NBA picks, too.

Paul George to record 6+ assists (+145)

The Los Angeles Clippers are seemingly playing without a natural point guard recently. It has allowed Paul George to assume more of the playmaking mantle. He has recorded 6 or more assists in each of his last 2 games and could be set to continue that streak here. The Suns have lost some of their best wing defenders in the Kevin Durant trade which should allow George more success getting into the paint. The man he is most likely to run into on the inside is Deandre Ayton. The Suns center has been more aggressive going for blocks recently, having recorded 5 in his last 3 games. It should allow George to find either Zubac in the paint or dish out to the perimeter. With improved shooting on the outside with the likes of Eric Gordon, his teammates should be able to convert here.

Chris Paul to record 12+ assists (+220)

Chris Paul has been fantastic sharing the ball for the Phoenix Suns lately. He has recorded 12 or more assists in 3 of his last 5 games. That includes a 19-assist performance in his last outing. He will now take on a Clippers team who he averages 12 assists per game against so far this season. Zubac is in the top 15 in the league in blocks per game which should provide opportunities for Paul to find Ayton on lob passes. With Devin Booker having tough matchups on the wing with the likes of Kawhi Leonard guarding him, look for Paul to take on more responsibility running the team. And with the Clippers just 17th in opponent assists per game over the last 10 games, the veteran guard should be the one collecting the vast majority of those.
